Ariana's POV:
I first called my friends, "Hello Noah, Jessy. How are you?" "Hello Ariana. I am good. What about you?" Noah and Jessy asked at the same time.
"I am fine. So I wanted to tell you that we will be moving to New York in 2 days. All of the preparations are made." I told them and they fell silent.
"This early. Sigh! Ari we will miss you so much. Tell us if you have any work for us. We will come there right away. Okay?" Jessy said and Noah also affirmed.
"Thank you guys. I need some help packing. When you are free from school, come here. Ok?" "Ok. We will come by 5 p.m. today." Noah said. Then we hung up the phone.
I then called Damian, "hello boss. I called to tell you that I will be moving to New York in 2 days." He was silent for some time and then replied.
"Ok Riana. If you need help please tell me." "Ok thanks boss. I will tell you if I need it. Bye bye." Then I hung up the phone. It was very tough to leave them here. Sigh!
I went to have lunch and then went to pack my things. Just like that my whole day went into packing. My friends also came and gave me a hand. I had almost completed my packing. My room is now filled with boxes.
I ate dinner and slept. I was really tired after packing the whole day.

I woke up in the morning and got ready. I went downstairs to eat breakfast and asked my parents, "mom, dad, did you finish packing?" "Almost. We still have some things to pack." Mom said.
"Ok mom. Dad, did the broker call?" "Yes. He did and we have finalized everything. The new family will move in after we leave. They were in a dire strait to get a house and we came in right at the time. We got a good deal."
"It's good that we helped each other. When will the movers come?"
"They will come today in the evening. They will help pack the things that we can't pack. Besides, we don't have to pack the appliances and big things because the house there has it all. We just need to pack our things like clothes and necessary things. Ok Ariana?"
"Ok dad." "And Ariana, baby don't worry too much. We will handle everything. You should go with your friends and spend some time with them. We don't know when we will meet them again. Okay?"
"Ok. You are right mom. I will go meet my friends. We will go tomorrow night right?" "Right. Go baby. Enjoy today with your friends." Dad said. I nodded and then finished breakfast.
After that I got ready and first went to the mafia headquarters to meet them. My friends are in school now so I will meet them first.

I reached the headquarters. They were all here doing their own work. I went in and met Levi. He was in his office doing some paper work.
"Hey Levi. How are you?" I went in after knocking. "Riana, you are here. I am good. Come on, sit here." He took me to the sofa and we sat there.
"So what brings you here?" "Actually I am going to New York tomorrow night. So I wanted to come and meet with you all."
He nodded, "yeah Damian told us. I wanted to meet with you also. I don't know when we will meet again. Riana we are going to miss you so much." He said with a hoarse voice as if he was controlling himself to not cry.
"I will miss you guys too. Let's spend some time together with everyone and then I will go to my friends."
"Ok let's go." We went to see if everyone was available. We first went to the boss and saw that he was also doing paperwork.
"Boss. What are you doing?" He lifted his head and looked at us.
"Work. What are you doing here Riana?" I told him about it and he nodded understanding it. "So boss now that I will be going to New York you will be very glad. Right?"
"Of course." He smirked.
"Hahaha... So do you have any girlfriends or not?" I asked, wriggling my eyebrows. He sighed and shook his head.
"Riana you know that I don't have. I want to focus on the mafia now."
I rolled my eyes, "oh come on. You can have a girlfriend also while doing the work. If you wait any longer you will be old and no girl would want to be your girlfriend. It's time that you look for a girl you know."
He stood up and dragged me out of the door and shut it. I was speechless. I glared at the door and pouted.
"Hey you can't drag me like this. How dare you. If you keep doing things like these then you won't have a girlfriend in your life. Humph!"
I then kicked the door and went to the gym to meet Ezra. He is always there. Levi is with me also as he was also kicked out of the office.
"Hey Ez. What are you doing?"
"Hey Riana. Come on get in the ring. Let's practice some moves. You will be going to New York right?"
"Yes. Tomorrow night. That's why I came to meet everyone."
We started practicing and that's how we talk. We practised for some time and then went to look for other members. I met all of them. We had lunch together as this is the last time. Sigh!
I will miss them so much. I had tears in my eyes seeing how everyone is. They are all my support. They supported me, gave me strength and made me who I am today.
Ariana, it's ok. Life happens. We met some people and left some people. I am sure we will meet again. After spending some time with all of them I gave them a hug and bid them bye.
Then I went to Jessy's house. We have decided to meet here. I rang the doorbell. Jessy opened it. I went in.
"Hey. Is Noah here yet?" "Yes he is here in the living room. Let's go in." We went to the living room.
"Hey Noah." I sat down on the sofa. We started talking and then time went by and before we knew it, it was already dinner time. We ate dinner together.
"Ok friends. I should get going now. It's late already." I gave them a hug. We teared up. We don't know when we will meet again.
"Ariana, promise me that you will call us and you will not forget us. Okay? And when you have time you have to come here." Jessy said.
"Ok I promise. You guys have to come too if you get any chance. I am going to miss you so soo much guys." We stood there hugging for some time. After that I went home.
I went in and saw that almost all of the packing was done. "Mom, dad, I am home."
"Ariana, we are here." I went into the living room and saw that they were still packing some boxes.
"How was your day, baby?"
Mom asked. "It was good. I met my friends and colleagues and bid them farewell. Are you guys done? Do you need some help?"
I always address them as colleagues as they don't know about the mafia.
"We are almost done. Help us pack the few boxes that are left. Your packing is done right?"
"Ok. Yes, my packing is done. Let's get this done and then sleep."
We worked together and it almost took an hour to complete all the packing. The movers were here and they helped us. They took the boxes and loaded them in the moving truck. They will deliver it to New York the day after tomorrow. So that when we reach there we will get it.
We have kept some things for tomorrow like clothes and toiletries. We will pack them in a bag and we can take it easily with us. After they left, we went to sleep.

I woke up in the morning at 8 a.m. as I don't have to go anywhere today and I was really tired. I got up and freshened up. I ate breakfast and started preparing for our move today. I can't believe we will be leaving Texas.
It's not many days since I have known them but it feels like I have known them for a lifetime. I am very excited for the new chapter of my life.
The day passed very quickly and before I knew it was time to go. All of my family members came to pick us up. We will be going with them to the airport.
"Are you guys ready?" Father asked us.
We nodded and went to sit in the car. I took a last glance at the house. The house that I have been living in for my whole life. Where I grew up. It is going to be tough to leave what you have known for your whole life.
Now I will live with my biological family and adoptive family. Sigh! It's going to be a new chapter of my life.
We reached the airport and got out of the car. They were very happy that you could see it from their faces. We went to the private air strip as they have told us that we will be going by private jet. Seriously, I was so shocked. How rich are they?
We went in the jet and my mouth dropped open. My jaw was hanging low. I mean it was so beautiful and luxurious that I can't describe it in words. It was a luxurious jet that I have only see in the movies. The seats were big and soft. It has so much space that we can easily recline on it.
It also has a bedroom. *Shakes head* Rich guys.
I walked all over the jet and took in the view. It was amazing. I went to sit on the comfy chair. Sigh! Amazing.
All of them came and took their seats. Mom and dad were also looking astounded. It was the first time for us to see this much luxury. How much money do they have? I can not imagine.
We took our seats and the pilot's voice came through the intercom.
"Hello everyone. I am Josh, your pilot for today. Please tighten your seat belts. We will be reaching New York in 3.5 hours. I hope you will have a good journey."
We all tightened our seat belts and prepared to fly. I was very excited and a little nervous. It's my first time flying. I hope it will be a good experience.
Our flight took off. I was getting nervous and Leonardo probably noticed it. He held my head giving it a squeeze. He looked at me reassuringly and gave me a smile. I took a deep breath and exhaled it.
I was now feeling a little better. We are now flying in the air. I looked out of the jet and was amazed to see the view. It was very amazing. I felt like I was free.
Then came the announcement that we can remove our belts. I removed it and Leonardo asked, "so, how are you feeling?"
"It's amazing. Thank you for the support. This is my first time flying."
"It's ok. You will fly more in the future. We have our jets. You can fly whenever you want and wherever you want." He said, giving me a smile.
"Hey, that's not fair. You don't allow me that. You are being biased." Matteo said, interrupting us.
"No, it is fair. She is our baby sister. Are you her?" Matteo was speechless. He shook his head and mumbled, "that's gender discrimination. How can you say that? I am also your baby brother." He ignored him.
Matteo looked like he was very disappointed. After some time the air hostess arrived and gave us our dinner. We ate together. It was 9 p.m. now. We will reach New York at approximately 11.40 p.m.
After eating dinner I took a short nap in the bedroom.
Rafael came and woke me up saying that we are about to land. I got up and rubbed my eyes sleepily. I went to my seat and tightened my seatbelt. I looked out of the plane and was stunned.
Wow!
It was magnificent. It can't be described in words. The city looked like it was decorated with lights and was looking magnificent.
We landed after some time and got out of the plane. We headed out of the airport and went into the car that Antonio had arranged already.
Now we will go to the Romano mansion. I am so excited.
