I can't believe the price for a ride with this ordinary carriage cost half a year of my hard earned money, but I guess it's expected since it's a three day ride, I should also try to be familiar with the coachman since we would be camping out in the wilderness for days and nights.
I decided to speak out first since it has been a minute of awkwardness.

In the second night of our journey we encountered something weird, a carriage can be barely seen in far east part of the Forest and I could hear the sound of people fighting.
A shout then rang out, even though it was far the sound was clear.
"Protect the young mistress!."
I rushed towards the direction of the sound, and there I saw one wounded knight standing tall even with all of his wounds, he was protecting the carriage and whoever was inside, amidst the chaos are the corpses of a dozen other Knights accompanying the carriage.'i am a bit late, as if I could actually save them, yes I could probably with this ability.'
Not wasting anytime I activated my inherent ability that I originally possessed in my past life, it's the ability to seemingly slow down time, but in reality its just the ability to stimulate my brain to it's absolute potential.'now let's try to make things clearer.'
After Adam activated his ability all things in his perspective seemed to slow down, but to make reality clear it was not time slowing but his brain reacting and gathering information with extreme speed.
And now time except for his brain has slowed down to about 0.3 of the original tick of 1.0.
Adam then barehandedly decapitated 7 assassins in a split second, and his bloodied and terrifying appearance shocked the Battle hardened knight gazing but not clearly seeing the appearance of his savior.
Adam thought for himself.'ruthless people like assassin's deserved to die, nonetheless I have no obligation to think about their lives, and to think too much of the lives of other people lowering your perspective of your own self in the process is the worse.'
In this new life I should not disregard the urge to follow my true nature and be the real me, a little bit unstable but I'm human anyways.

Adam hurriedly returned to the camp, and reassured the coach-man that there was no problem only a slight inconvenience that some rich kid had incountered.
Of course the coachman didn't believe any of Adam's lies but nonetheless he have no obligation to inquire, and so he endured the days and nights that followed.
And after the long journey they finally crossed over the border and have now arrived at the capital city of 'Latvia'.
