There is this school called Birch Wilson Academy. It is an open and wide public school in Missouri. I started in my pre-school years. I thought this was my time to shine. My childhood friends, Peter and James were owls. They always supported me through my pre-school years up to my senior year.
At school, we learnt about basic things. How to fly, how to catch prey also how to be responsible for kids, or how to protect the babies in the eggs. All of that was guided by my educator and personal tutor, Mrs. Jérôme. She just immigrated from one of The Great Lakes in Southern Canada. She was a crow, I think? But she made learning fun. It made me not lack self-esteem and confidence.
When I got the flu, I was at the hospital for 2-3 months. While I was recovering, I knew I couldn't miss work. So my mother called Mrs. Jérôme to teach me while I am on a day-off. Mother called, "Hello, Mrs. Jérôme. Yes, he is sick. Unfortunately, he got the flu. Oof. Uh huh. I recommend teaching him on a Zoom meeting." She was calling while signing documents and contracts. "You can? Ok, great. Thank you so, so much! Ok, let's do 4:00pm on the dot. Ok, bye bye
