Chapter 9 - The feather-head AGAIN!!

Morvadeus' journey alone was torturous, various powerful creatures attacked him day and night. Months of suffering and battling made him much stronger than before.

He wasn't just a child but a little boy with a beast inside of him; he would crush the bones of the beasts and could easily lift ten thousand kilograms.

One time he fought a creature who attacked him beside a lake

Its body was wider than the trunk of a tree, its steps left deep footprints in the ground.

He overpowered him, easily lifting him up and smashing in the ground, cracking its bones.

Just when he could take a breath, feeling the warmth of the sun on his skin and the light breeze of the wind, a swift black spot from the sky, like a sly assassin, snatched his necklace, his wings whistling through the air.

---

On top of the tree canopies the rustling sound of the leaves disturbed the silent forest.

A silver haired child angrily chased after a pitch-black bird, whose claws tightly held a beautiful necklace with a pendant in it.

The fluffy, white robe fluttered as his swift steps anxiously followed the bird, jumping from one tree to another.

The boy's nimbness surprised the bird who smirked and thought:

'No matter how swift your tiny legs are, they will never catch up with my massive wings'

Looking at the smirking feather-head, rains of curses echoed in the forest.

"You little swamp-dripped, feather tattered bird, just wait till I pluck your feathers out one after another "Morvadeus angrily shouted at the smirking bird.

The bird, hearing his cursed, screeched in anger, her sharp voice hurting the ears of Morvadeus. It slowly descended towards him, with the necklace between his claws, swinging right before his eyes.

Just before Morvadeus smiled thinking that he would get the pendant, the bird rose higher a bit, turning his smile into an ugly frown.

The bird happy screeches echoed in the forest, enjoying the torture of the child.

'This delicious meat will beg to be eaten' the bird thought.

Morvadeus' knuckles cracked slowly, bloodlust emanating from his eyes, seeing him playing with his precious necklace.

Taking his little bunny killer knife, he hid it behind his back, getting ready to slash the bird into a thousand pieces.

'An ugly animal dares to play with my precious sister!' He clenched his fists.

The bird got chills on his back feeling a sudden danger from behind. Looking back at the angry child, his sharp voice echoed, accentuating his enjoyment.

Snaaping his fingers at the chill, the sly bird wasn't finished.

Descending again towards Morvadeus it was ready to play him to death.

Morvadeus smirked, ready to teach a lesson to this arrogant animal. His legs broke the canopy as he lunged with his full power at the descending bird.

The feel of death loomed over the bird, feeling the deathgod scythe at his neck.

Before it could react, the knife cut a small wound on his legs, making him yell in pain. Getting the opportunity, Morvadeus on the other hand swiftly caught the pendant.

"I, your father, will teach you a lesson!" He shouted at the bird, celebrating his victory, putting the pendant in his pocket for now.

"Let me catch — ahh...

Suddenly both he and the bird were surprised. They found themself beside a huge waterfall, after jumping from the last canopy straight into the canyon.

The cold wind hit their faces, their voices lost in the echoing sound of the water splashing.

Neither of them cared, Morvadeus holding the bird's neck, started punching its head. Every punch made a small bump on its little head, some of them making his face fly to the other side with its saliva flying out from his beak.

The bird also didn't retreat, his bleeding legs clawed at the child, making deep scratches on his body.

"How dare you, play with my precious necklace!!"Morvadeus angrily shouted, he easily overpowered the bird, whose strength was already at Mid-Viscus Refinement.

"Screech, screech" the bird answered 'You little hairless mouse, you dare to hurt your father!.'

Looking savagely at the feathers on the bird's head, he started plucking them out, each time making the bird cry out of pain.

The shiny screeching of the bird's head was flying straight into the water, with Morvadeus beside. A couple of black feathers after them slowly floated down, some getting hit by the waterfall.

They both hit the water splashing it and diving deep. Their ears rang from the sound of the waterfall. Swimming to the shore Morvadeus outpaced the barely swimming bird.

Morvadeus' clothes soaked, his neat silver hair ruffled, sticking to his body. Looking at the swimming bird, with its shiny head, he wasn't finished with it.

Before it could get to the shore, Morvadeus took from its neck, and shouted in his face, his svaliva flying towards it roughly.

"You, you, you!" His trembling finger pointing at his eyes, making the bird scared for its life.

"I will discipline you instead of your parents, because they couldn't"

He pushed its head down underwater, making it struggle. Whistling in satisfaction, the boy waited for a while, then made his grip slightly weaker.

The bird grasping mouth instantly surfaced searching for air. Numb from cold and scared from the Morvadeus bloodthirsty aura as it gazed at his piercing eyes, he knew, maybe today he would be the one getting eaten.

Holding his heavy, water-soaked wings up, the bird tried to convey its surrender, but looking at the smirking Morvadeus's he knew he might as well, beg to be cooked. He wanted to cry, but he was already wet from the water.

Pushing his struggling shiny head yet again in the water, Morvadeus repeated his action, angrily, without a care for the bird. A couple of times later, he looked at the lifeless gaze of the bird, who mournfully surrendered.

---

After a while, a boy was in his underwear, eating a cooked fish, nicely evenly cooked over the fire. Beside him a bird held his wings up, with clothes hanging on it. Its shiny head was red from the glaring heat of the sun, making the cooked fish smell mixed with it.

"One more, right now," Morvadeus arrogantly commanded.

The bird could only scratch its wound on its feet to lure some fish out.

Suddenly it clawed angrily, his only chance to express its frustration, and holding its feet up two fish were on it.

Morvadeus happily cooked them, satisfied. His smile made the desperate bird sigh. The smell of the cooked fish, making its saliva spill from its beak.

'I better live in the mountains after he let me leave. I won't bother these featherless mice anymore in this forest' the bird sighed, his beak pointing towards the ground in its sadness.

Out of nowhere he looked up, a fish with its lifeless eyes gazing at him nearly making his heart stop. He opened his beak, swallowing it whole. His surprised eyes looked at Morvadeus.

Morvadeus just gazed at him silently, not understanding his own thoughts. His confused eyes were flooded with sadness instead of anger, the powerlessness of the bird, making his head remember some vague memories.

The bird just gratefully but cautiously gazed at him, while Morvadeus gazed upward getting lost in the sound of the flowing water, his thoughts chaotic.
