Chapter 45 - Revilia

"One potato croquette... no, make it three."

I ordered some potato croquettes from a street stall in Revilia Village.

The freshly fried, piping-hot croquettes were no different from the ones on the surface.

"That'll be 900 valis."

Except for the price.

On the surface, a potato croquette cost 30 to 50 valis, but this was Revilia.

A crazy village built inside the Dungeon, where prices ran completely wild.

"Here you go."

I wasn't exactly broke, so I handed over the valis.

"Running a business here must be exhausting."

I took the croquettes and headed over to where Aiz and Boros were.

"I'm telling you! I never received that Udaeus sword!"

"Liar."

"...Still at it, huh."

When I reached the buyback shop in Revilia Village, I saw Boros shouting in frustration and Aiz glaring at him.

Even after I'd been away for a bit, they were still at it.

"Ah! Bellf! You need to talk some sense into the Sword Princess!"

As soon as Boros spotted me, he hurried over and hid behind me.

"Haa... why not just hand it over and be done with it?"

"W-What are you talking about!? I never got any sword from Udaeus!"

The reason those two were making such a racket was simple.

It was because of the sword left behind by the Udaeus Aiz had defeated.

Several weeks ago, Aiz had soloed Udaeus and obtained a greatsword, and while Aiz clearly said she had entrusted it to Boros, Boros insisted he had never received it.

"...Sigh, Boros."

"What?"

"Just hand it over before I go to Lacia and turn Orario into a sea of fire."

"O-Okay! I'll give it back!"

Boros ran off somewhere and came back carrying a black greatsword.

"H-Here..."

"Aiz, you don't even use greatswords normally, so why did you want this?"

"I want Bellf to make me a new sword with it."

"..."

With this?

"Don't you already have Hawk Sword?"

Even one made of adamantite should be pretty useful, shouldn't it?

"I need to get stronger."

"...Fine. Another rapier this time?"

"Yes."

If my exclusive adventurer asked me to make it, then I had no choice but to make it.
