Chapter 54
Sez visited Rayton's quarters every day following the incident on the hill. Sometimes she could find Rayton there, but in most cases, she couldn’t. Occasionally, Sez waited for Rayton until dawn inside the small library. Learning Kazarkish was the least of her concerns now, but even then, she didn’t see him often.
"You look tired, Your Royal Highness. How about taking a nap?"
Runa asked worriedly, but Sez shook her head as she was not in the mood.
"No, I'm fine. By the way, have you seen my brother?”
"No. I also asked the ladies-in-waiting in his quarters, but they haven’t seen him either."
“I see.”
Sez sighed.
"Maybe he’s busy, I don't know why, but… anyway, I think the Prince will come and see you once he’s finished with whatever business he’s dealing with, so don't worry too much."
Sez knew something had happened. The problem was that she didn’t know what. She was worried, she thought he might be alone somewhere with a sad look on his face once again.
