"What a vulgar bitch! I should have killed her off earlier."
Sez could only remain expressionless as she stared at her mother. She wanted to ask if murdering Lisette really made her that happy and whether she had any idea of the price she would have to pay for her malicious joy.
"Anyway, I'll start looking into your marriage again, so keep that in mind," Yerna said, putting her cup down.
"I'll find the right man, although, he won’t be that great compared to Duke Franz."
No matter whether she brought a seventy-year-old man or an eighty-year-old man, it would be useless.
Soon enough, everyone would die. Yerna was no exception to that. Sez wouldn’t be able to escape the same fate if she stayed in the palace.
