I helped Edwin up and pointed toward the Pargos Castle, asking, "No reaction yet?"

"Then, should we deploy the siege troops?"
"No, I'll send a letter."
"Me! Send me, Raviel. I'll bring you the Duke's head."
"It's a letter, not an envoy, Eddy."
I quickly cut off Edwin's nonsense and called for Cecil.
Holding a hastily written letter, the standard-bearer ran toward the gates of Pargos Castle.
After some hesitation, Duke Pargos finally opened the gates to receive the letter. A response would be coming soon.
The letter was simple:
「Open the gates and come out, and I'll overlook Dulchen's act of treason. Defy me, and you'll be considered a conspirator too, and we'll break in. You have exactly three hours to decide.」
