I chuckled and patted Edwin on the shoulder to calm my fuming brother.
"I'm always trying to be an empress you wouldn't be ashamed of. You can be proud. You are indeed a great brother who made me an empress."
Edwin, despite his sulky face, leaned in and extended his head toward me, replying, "Raviel, you should be proud of yourself no matter what, so don't try too hard."
I patted my brother's hair, as he always spoke endearingly, then I turned to Veremir with a question.
Whether someone made me an empress or not didn't matter to me. But I couldn't help asking him, especially since the reason he needed Edwin was something very unexpected.
"Did you say you needed Edwin because he has the power to make someone an emperor?"
"Yes, Your Majesty. I need Lord Sutton's power."
