It was troublesome to have my time taken up by unnecessary formalities when I was already so busy, but seeing Edwin dressed up for the first time in a while was a treat for the eyes.
Dressed in a dark blue commander's uniform, Edwin adjusted his sleeves as he walked into the room.
He looked so decent and different from his usual self that I remarked to Genise standing beside me, “He doesn’t seem like a rascal in that outfit, right?”
“No, he doesn’t,” Genise agreed nonchalantly.
Just then, Edwin bounded forward and said, “Raviel! Wow, you look amazing. Full of dignity, so beautiful!”
His fussing over me from every angle was so typical of his usual ‘rascal’ self that it was almost embarrassing in front of Genise.
