But Haven pretended it wasn’t a big deal and asked again, “Wouldn’t your sister be worried?”
“I don’t think so,” Edwin replied, his profile tinged with loneliness.
“Were you and your sister not close?”
“Well, I’d say it’s more like an ambiguous relationship, somewhere between close or not.”
At Haven’s cautious question, Edwin's face grew even lonelier.
“What kind of person is your sister?”
“My sister… I swear she’s the most incredible person in the world. Smart, wise, confident, responsible, dignified, fair, competent, and even beautiful.”
