After Brian finished getting to know the members of the Black Bulls, Magna immediately carried out the task that Captain Yami had assigned to him.
"Alright, let me take you on a tour around the base."
Magna said with a wide grin on his face, "Follow me!"
Saying that, Magna ran quickly into the base, not waiting for Brian to follow him. He surely believed that Brian would be able to catch up to him quickly afterward.
"Sure, thanks."
Brian replied to Magna, then turned to the remaining people, "I'm going to see the base, see you all later."
"Have fun!"
Temporarily saying goodbye to the others, Brian ran after Magna into the Black Bull base. It didn't take him long to catch up with Magna, who had run ahead of him for a while.
"Oh, your speed is quite fast!"
Magna said when he saw Brian catch up to him, and he then began introducing the Black Bull base to Brian with an enthusiastic mood.
The first location that Magna introduced to Brian was the dining hall. This place looked almost like the Great Hall at Hogwarts, if one didn't count the fact that it was noticeably smaller and shabbier.
After that, Magna led Brian to see the bathroom; this place was a spacious bathhouse, enough for all the members of the Squad to soak in. Of course, men and women were divided into two separate rooms.
"What time do you all usually take a bath, Magna?"
Brian asked Magna while reaching out to touch the water in the bath. The water temperature was ideal, slightly hot for bathing, but he thought he would be fine if he bathed here.
"Hmm…?"
Magna heard Brian's question and thought for a moment, then he replied uncertainly.
"Maybe a little before a meal, or before going to sleep…?"
Brian listened and understood that the male members of the Black Bull did not have a fixed bathing time. They just went to bathe whenever they wanted, not worrying too much about a routine.
"Let's keep going…"
"Sure, I'll take you to the next place. Guaranteed you'll be amazed!"
Magna and Brian left the bathhouse, they moved quickly to a floor at the very bottom of the base. This place was damp, didn't have much light, and especially had a few rooms that looked no different from prison cells, looking at it, it was extremely suspicious.
"This place is a prison cell, right?"
"No, it's not a prison cell."
Magna somehow lacked his previous enthusiastic appearance when arriving here. He took from the corner of the room a bucket filled with fresh meat and a large meat tong, then he walked in front of the cell.
"This place is the living quarters for Captain Yami's pets. Because there's nowhere big enough to keep them all in one place, he lets them live here."
"I see."
Brian nodded once as if he understood clearly. But right at the moment he intended to go near the cage to clearly see the animals inside, a fierce growl suddenly burst out from inside the cage, accompanied by a foul-smelling liquid spilling onto the ground from inside.
These things made Brian stop, not wanting to get any closer for fear of getting stuck with something disgusting, especially that suspicious liquid, it was saliva from the beasts in the cage, or maybe even some other liquid.
"Let's go to the next place."
Looking down at the pile of liquid that had just been sprayed out by some beast in the cage, Brian immediately abandoned the idea of seeing what the monsters inside looked like.
"Hey, wait!"
Magna saw Brian about to leave and whispered a breath to stop him. Magna's face now held the expectant look of a truck driver laden with candy trying to hand a lucky charm to a random child on the roadside whom he'd been watching all week.
"Brian, don't you want to try feeding them? A man feeding fresh meat to a pack of ferocious beasts, what could be more manly than that?!"
"No, I don't think I'm interested in that."
Brian, of course, immediately refused Magna's blatant enticement, "You go ahead and feed them, I'll wait outside."
"Hey! Wait! You can't leave me alone here…!"
Despite Magna's screaming, Brian still didn't look at him and decisively turned his back and left. Feeding Captain Yami's pets was Magna's daily task; Brian was not kind enough to share this 'important' work of his.
Brian went outside to wait for Magna to handle his work. After a while of struggling with Captain Yami's pets, Magna finally came out, and the first thing he did was criticize Brian.
"Hey, brat! That's really not manly at all, how could you leave me alone with that pack of monsters?!"
Magna's appearance right now looked extremely miserable, his hair and clothes were disheveled, and on his body was stuck some kind of extremely disgusting liquid, and they were emitting an extremely unpleasant odor.
"I don't want to have anything to do with those monsters. And you should go take a bath, Magna."
Brian pinched his nose when looking at Magna, carefully standing a safe distance away from him to be able to react in time if he had a fit and rushed at him.
Brian thought Magna would have difficulties dealing with Captain Yami's pets, but his appearance like this was a bit beyond his imagination.
Was it because those pets were too strong, or was Magna too lousy to deal with them?
Whatever, Brian didn't have the mood to continue touring the base with Magna in his current state anymore.
He already knew all the passages and rooms in the base, he could go by himself, no need to go with Magna, who was covered in the suspicious liquid of the beasts.

Magna said while trying to brush the liquid off himself, "I can't let you go alone like that. The Captain will kill me after this…"

Brian sighed, "If so, you should go take a bath quickly, I will stand here and wait for you."
"Yeah, wait for me a bit. I'll be right back…."
Magna looked at Brian gratefully, he immediately decided that he would run to the bathroom to wash himself clean quickly before returning to find him.
But when Magna was about to run off, a sound like footsteps rang out near the two of them, making him pause for a beat.
A girl around Brian's age walked toward Magna and Brian, silver hair and purple eyes, a cute and lovely face. Although her eyebrows were furrowed, this did not affect her cuteness much.
Just in a fleeting moment, Brian knew the girl standing in front of him was Noelle Silva.
"Ah, there you are."
Magna, upon seeing Noelle, temporarily forgot about needing to take a bath, he immediately introduced this girl to Brian.
"Brian, this is Noelle, also a new member admitted to the Squad this year like you."

The strong foul odor rising from the pile of suspicious liquid on Magna spread in the air. When standing far away, Noelle didn't smell it, but when getting closer, the stench Magna radiated really made her unable to bear it.

Magna heard Noelle say that and couldn't help but feel uncomfortable, he wanted to go up to explain more to her about what is called respecting seniors but was stopped by Brian.

Brian put his hand in front of him, stopping Magna from moving forward, he also slowly walked toward Noelle, standing opposite and a distance away from Magna.

Magna saw Brian siding with Noelle and was disgruntled, but when he saw Brian constantly winking and shifting his eyes continuously toward where Noelle was standing, Magna finally understood something.
Although Magna was not the type of intelligent person, and his temper was as rough and rude as Yami's, he was not a complete fool either.
Being men, Magna immediately understood what Brian was conveying to him.
