Chapter 2 - The start -

I huffed, sitting at the end of my bed staring at the wall opposite. The boring white colour blended in with the room, the morning light peeking into my room from the curtain. Reaching over, I clasped the end of the flowing fabric and pulled it to the side. before standing up and stretching my arms. 7:30. I was already in my uniform. School starts at 8. School.... Thinking about it only brought the memories of my old school back, all my friends, my girlfriend. I wonder how she is. Probably still asleep, i'll ait before messaging. Making my move towards the door. Hopping over a pile of clothes and turning the handle, its cold.

"Look who finally left their room!" My mother stood there with a smile, i hated those words....

"Mmm, morning." I smiled back at her, giving a quick hug as i do every time. We walked down the stairs together, the plush carpet against my socks. God, i'm anything but happy about this new school. I just have a horrible feeling about it all. Despite that, I made my way into the kitchen. Crouching down to one of the cupboards and pulling it open, grabbing the bread with my outstretched hand. I straightened my back again, un-twirling the knot at the top and grabbing a piece. Then two. Before popping them into the toaster.

"Hey, your making a big deal out of nothing." A sudden voice, my younger brothers.

"What? The hell is that supposed to mean, you little freak." I spun on my heels to face him.

"You've got to change schools, boo hoo. No need to act all mopey about it." He just scoffed.

"God, you're so oblivious." I still retaliated, despite finding it moronic. We just went back and forth bickering. His face slowly going red from lack of air. Then, the toaster popped up making us both jump.

"Just, go away or shut up." I turned back, reaching the two toast pieces and grabbing the butter, spreading it around the toasted bread. My brother shut up, atleast. He just went to sit down, and scrolled through his phone. 7:40. I plated my toast before leaving the kitchen, sliding the door open with my foot to leave. Moving towards the living room. And sitting on the couch, pulling my phone out and scrolling through and app I can, hopefully putting my mind off of anything and everything. 7:45, my phone pings checking the notification I can see it's from my girlfriend. Opening it up with a smile, we text back and forth until 7:50 when I have to complete the grueling task off letting her know I have to go now. And with that, I stood up, leaving the room and my empty plate on the table, by the door my bag, fully packed resides, tossing my phone into one of the pockets and unlocking the door, and sliding my shoes on, and pulling my coat on. Swinging it open and letting that cold inter breeze flow around me.

"Bye!" I yelled out into the house, for silence back...

"Whatever..." I just grumbled back, stepping outside. Only turning back to lock the door, sliding the key into my coats pocket. 7:52, that's when I began walking, little did I know that this school would be the start of my downfall.
