Chapter 27 - Chapter 27 Stormy Cultivation

Natasha took a sip of her water and watched the two women carefully.

She looked at Jean and smirked slightly.

It was very easy for a master spy to read a teenager.

Jean had a huge crush on Sam. Her face turned a little pink every time she looked at the door he had walked through.

But Natasha also saw the hesitation in Jean's eyes.

Jean was a good girl with strong morals. She knew Sam was Natasha's boyfriend, and that stopped her from going any further.

Then, Natasha looked at Ororo.

Ororo was different.

She was a grown woman, a teacher, and a leader.

She had seen the dark side of the world. Her mind was much more open.

Natasha decided to test the waters. She started talking about Sam's magic.

"Cultivation is amazing, but it has a heavy price,"

Natasha said casually, playing with the edge of her glass.

"Sam just formed a Golden Core. It is like a massive, burning sun inside him. He has so much hot Yang energy. If he doesn't cool it down, it will burn him from the inside."

Ororo listened closely. She was very smart.

She put the pieces together quickly.

"He needs cool energy,"

Ororo noted, her blue eyes sharp.

"He needs Yin. From women."

Natasha nodded slowly.

"Yes. In his ancient path, they are called Dao Companions. Partners who share energy to keep each other alive and growing."

Jean blinked, her face turning bright red.

She looked down at her lap, her mind spinning with wild thoughts and daydreams.

Ororo looked at Jean, then looked back at Natasha.

Ororo understood the silent message.

She didn't have a problem with it.

She wasn't a shy young girl. If sleeping with Sam helped him, and helped her grow stronger, it was a practical choice.

"Jean,"

Ororo said softly, her voice full of gentle authority.

"You have had a very long, tiring day. Your mind needs time to process everything. You should go to your room and rest. Natasha and I have some adult things to talk about."

Jean was too lost in her own blushing daydreams to argue. She just nodded quickly.

"Okay. Goodnight, Ororo. Goodnight, Natasha,"

Jean mumbled, standing up and quickly walking down the hall to her guest room.

When the door clicked shut, the room became very quiet.

Ororo turned to Natasha. Her face was completely serious.

"You are looking for women for him,"

Ororo said. It wasn't a question. It was a fact.

"I am,"

Natasha told her the honest truth.

"I love him, Ororo. But I am just one woman. My Yin energy is like a small cup of water trying to put out a forest fire. I need help to keep him safe. And he needs strong women by his side."

Ororo took a deep breath. She thought about the situation very carefully.

The world hated mutants. Humans hunted them.

But Sam didn't care about any of that. He gave her peace. He gave Jean a shield.

He was incredibly powerful, and he wasn't afraid of the government.

If she became Sam's Dao Companion, she wouldn't just be helping him.

She would be gaining a very powerful ally for her people.

"I am considering your proposal, Natasha,"

Ororo said, her voice steady and proud.

"He is a good man. He helped my mind when no one else could. I agree to help him."

Natasha smiled. It was a real, relieved smile. She respected Ororo's strength and practical mind.

"I am glad,"

Natasha whispered, leaning closer.

"Because the truth is, I am too weak to handle his Golden Core all by myself right now. The energy is too heavy."

Natasha reached out and gently held Ororo's hand.

"Join us in his room tonight,"

Natasha said simply.

"We will share his fire together."

Sam was meditating in his bedroom.

With his new Golden Core, his senses were incredibly sharp.

He could easily hear the soft footsteps walking down the hallway.

He knew Natasha had a plan. He knew she wanted to find more Dao Companions to help him.

But he was honestly surprised she succeeded so quickly.

Ororo was a proud and powerful leader.

For her to agree on the first night meant she truly understood the danger of the world and trusted him completely.

The bedroom door opened softly.

Natasha walked in, gently holding Ororo's hand.

"We are here to help put out the fire,"

Natasha said with a small, beautiful smile.

Ororo looked a little nervous, but her blue eyes were brave and determined.

She looked at Sam.

"Show me how this works, Sam,"

Ororo said softly.

Sam smiled gently, his eyes full of respect and care.

"Thank you, Ororo. Just relax and follow my lead."

They sat together on the large bed and began to dual cultivate.

As their energies connected, Sam felt a massive wave of relief wash over him.

Natasha's Yin energy was cool, sharp, and precise.

Ororo's Yin energy was completely different.

Because of her connection to the weather, her Yin was deep, wild, and incredibly strong. It felt like a cool, refreshing rainstorm pouring over a hot desert.

When the two Yin energies combined, they wrapped perfectly around Sam's burning Golden Core.

The heavy, dangerous heat in his chest finally cooled down into a warm, comfortable glow.

The perfect circle of energy was complete.

Sam even felt his own cultivation increase. It was only a small amount, but it proved that the ancient texts were right.

The array worked. By sharing his intense fire with them, they absorbed his power to grow quickly, and their cool energy kept him safe and moving forward.

He kept dual cultivating with them, letting the pure energy cycle through all three of their bodies.

Down the hall, Jean was lying in the dark guest room.

She couldn't sleep. Her mind was racing with thoughts about cultivation, Sam, and her new powers.

She wanted to practice. She wanted to see if she could control her powers without the shield.

Very carefully, Jean lowered the gentle water shield in her mind. Just a tiny bit.

She expected to hear the quiet, normal sounds of the night.

Instead, a massive, overwhelming wave of emotions and thoughts crashed directly into her brain.

Because Sam, Natasha, and Ororo were sharing their deep life energy and their souls were connected, their minds were glowing like a brilliant beacon in the quiet mansion.

The telepathic signal was too strong to miss.

Jean gasped and covered her mouth with both hands.

She could feel exactly what they were feeling.

She could hear the intense joy, the deep pleasure, and the powerful, rushing flow of Qi between the three of them.

'They are doing... that... together!'

Jean thought, her entire face turning as red as a tomato.

She was so shocked she forgot to put her mental shield back up.

Because her mind was wide open, she caught a clear, happy thought slipping from Natasha's mind to Ororo's.

'Your energy is perfect, Ororo. Once Jean is a little older and her mind is stronger... her Yin will be a perfect fit for our array, too.'

Jean's heart almost stopped. Her green eyes opened wide in the dark.

They didn't just want to train her.

They were already planning to include her in... that!

Jean panicked and quickly pushed her mental water shield back up, instantly cutting off the telepathic connection. The room went perfectly silent again.

She pulled the heavy blankets all the way over her head, hiding in the dark.

Her heart was beating like a loud drum against her ribs.

She was shocked and deeply embarrassed.

But as she lay there in the quiet night, a tiny part of her couldn't help but feel a strange, warm flutter of excitement in her stomach.
