The surrounding hunters stared in disbelief. Even Benn and the members of his expedition team were completely stunned by Oliver's display of power.
Eswald's eyes also widened.
"Well? Didn't I tell you this guy was special?" Zander grinned proudly.
"Hmm...I admit he's far beyond what I expected. But, you already know what this Calamity is capable of."
At that very moment, Zahraan slowly lifted its head. The shattered skull and mangled flesh rapidly regenerated, as though time itself had been reversed to the moment before Oliver's punch had landed.
Suddenly, Zahraan's eyes locked onto Oliver with a fierce glare. The emerald jewel embedded in its forehead began glowing brightly.
"RRAAARR!"
At the same moment, countless monsters started emerging from the lagoon. Creatures of all kinds crawled out from the murky water before charging toward Oliver, Tezla, and Kai all at once.
