Suddenly, the walls on both sides of the room I was in started sinking into the ground. Then I saw Julia on one side and everyone else on the other side.
Looking closely at both sides, I saw time bombs connected to them, each showing 10 seconds remaining. Without wasting time, I used Shave and Moonwalk continuously. First, I moved toward Julia and removed the bomb from her legs. Then I rushed to the children and others and removed their bombs as well. After that, I took the bombs with me, used Shave and Moonwalk again, exited the building, and moved toward the sea. Just as the timer was about to reach zero, I used my full strength and threw the bombs into the ocean.
A loud boom erupted as the explosion went off, the aftershock still lingering as I was thrown away. However, my Devil Fruit ability protected me, leaving me almost unharmed. I stood up immediately and dashed back toward the building at full speed. I reached it quickly and entered once again.
Inside, everyone was safe and sound. Soon a kid around 10 to 12 years old stood up and asked" Leon how did you moved so fast no one was able to see you"
Soon everyone started asking the same question but before I could speak, the two remaining sides of the wall began to sink underground.
As both sides completely sank, four humanoid figures appeared—two from each side. Their hearts were visible outside their bodies, and their hands bore large, sharp claws.
This shocked me a little, but before I could say anything, the mad scientist's voice rang out again, saying, "This is what you should feel, Mr. Kennedy. These are Proto Tyrants created by Umbrella. I only replicated them and used them for my revenge. Let's see who you will protect—yourself or the people you love."
Hearing his voice, I was about to launch myself at the Tyrants to finish them as fast as I could, but before I could move, I heard gunfire behind me—bang.
At the sound of gunfire, I turned and saw a handsome man in his early thirties, golden-haired and wearing sunglasses in black police like uniform, pointing his gun at everyone and saying, "Don't move."
He didn't waste any time and asked directly, "Who are you all and What are you all doing here?"
Before I could even speak, James, the orphanage caretaker, rose to his feet and approached the man. "Sir," he said firmly, "we are all victims who were kidnapped by the mad scientist. Are you with the police, or some kind of government agency?"
He paused for a brief moment then showed his card saying. "Yes… I'm from the CIA," he said. "Right now, I'm investigating the mad scientist who has been wanted for kidnapping and experimenting on humans,."
Before anyone could reply, he continued, "My name is Albert Wesker. It looks like we are all on the same ship right now."
Before anyone could respond, the four monstrous Tyrants at the front suddenly growled and charged toward us, attempting to attack. I used my shapeshifting ability and instantly appeared in front of one of them. My right hand twisted into a magma hand, and I hurled it at his face, yelling, "Hellhound!"
The Tyrant's head was blasted off, and its body crumpled to the ground. My sudden burst of speed and power left everyone stunned, even Wesker. They all turned to look at me… as if I were a monster.
I looked at them and saw everyone staring at me in complete shock. Julia, however, was looking at me with both concern in her eyes.
Seeing one of them fall, the remaining Tyrants attacked me together. I didn't waste any time and raised my hand, channeling all my magma power into it. I aimed at the Tyrants while making sure everyone was out of range, then unleashed one of my strongest moves—"Great Eruption."
A colossal magma fist materialized and slammed into the other Tyrants, sending them flying. It carried them across several meters before bursting like a detonated bomb. The explosion consumed them completely—leaving no Tyrant behind.
After finishing off the remaining Tyrants, I looked at everyone and said, "I will explain everything, but we need to leave this place first."
Then I turned to Wesker and said, "Hello, my name is Leon S. Kennedy but you can call me Leon. I hope we can cooperate with each other."
He came out of his shock and replied, "Hello, Leon. You can call me Wesker."
Before we could speak, the exits began to close and red alarms screamed to life. Then it happened—dozens of zombie dogs emerge from a single side rushing toward us, and behind them, a giant snake emerged.
Seeing this, I looked at Wesker and asked, "Do you think you can handle this?"
He heard me and replied, "Yes, I can."
I looked at him and spoke firmly. "Protect everyone—I'll deal with them. And if any of them escape… don't hesitate and Aim for their head."
He gave a nod and raised his gun toward the zombie dogs. I didn't waste a second and threw myself towards the swarm of infected animals, my hand erupting into magma as I used "Great Eruption" again.
Once again, a giant fist of magma surged forward toward them. The zombie dogs, driven by instinct, froze in place for a moment. Before they could react, the fist reached them and completely engulfed them. It then exploded, leaving molten magma scattered across the area, melting everything around.
I pulled my hand back, magma dripping from it onto the ground below. A faint hissing sound filled the air as the intense heat burned against the floor.
Behind me, everyone's jaws were left hanging open. Wesker also looked shocked, though curiosity was written all over his face.
Seeing the gas released from my magma, I thought it was finally over and was about to turn back. But suddenly, the giant snake that I believed had been destroyed emerged from the smoke, charging straight at me to bite.
I reacted instantly, turning part of my body into magma. The snake avoided me at the last moment and instead rushed toward the kids behind me.
Wesker saw this and tried to shoot it, but its hardened skin—partially melted by the magma—still made it difficult for bullets to penetrate.
Seeing that the giant snake was about to attack the kids, Julia, who was with them, threw herself in front of them and yelled, "No!"
Seeing the snake closing in on Julia, I used Shave and dashed toward it at full speed. I transformed my hand into magma, preparing to use Hellhound, since Great Eruption would risk harming everyone behind it.
I reached it in an instant—but just as I arrived, the snake bit Julia's hand. At the same time, my magma-covered hand crushed its skull and obliterated it completely.
The moment I finished off the snake, I saw Julia start to collapse. I used Shave instantly and appeared in front of her, catching her in my human form and pulling her into my arms.
I quickly checked her and noticed a bite mark on her hand.Panic hit me instantly. "No… not her… please, not her!" I shouted.
Seeing my panic, Julia softly and weakly touched my cheek and said, "Please don't cry… I can't bear to see you like this."
Seeing this, I placed my hand over hers and said, "Don't worry. Nothing will happen to you. I'll find the cure… I hope I will find it. No, I will find it."
Finally, the mad scientist's laughter echoed all around again. "Ha ha ha ha! Mr. Kennedy, it seems you cannot save everyone. I told you—you have only one option. Now, let's check the choices you have left currently."
His laughter echoed again, and rage surged inside me. I shouted, "Where are you, bastard? Come out and fight me like a man—you coward!"
His laughter stopped, and he replied in an evil voice, "Why so hurry, Mr. Kennedy? The game has just begun. Now you have two options in your hands.
The snake that bit her is not poisonous, but it was infected with the T-virus, which turns everyone it bites into zombies.
Now choose: one—kill her. Or two—let her turn into a zombie like the dogs you saw before."
Seeing this, my anger vanished instantly. I looked at Julia, who had turned pale, as green veins began spreading across her face.
I held her tighter in my arms and shouted, "Do you have a cure? I know you have a cure! Give it to me—I'll do anything for you!"
Hearing this, he began to laugh even more menacingly than before and replied, "Sorry, Mr. Kennedy. Even though I would like to help you, as the deal was very good for me, I'm afraid I don't have the cure."
The hall fell completely silent. Before I could move, Julia placed her hands on my face once more.
"Leon… don't worry. Just kill me. I don't want to turn into those things," she whispered. "But promise me… don't become that lonely person again. Don't stop trusting others like before, make a family again promise me."
Hearing this, tears began to fall from my eyes. It was the second time I had cried since losing my family. I held her in my arms and said, "No… nothing will happen to you. Please don't leave me."
