Once Bonnie and I finished our burning ritual, we went to the grill where we got lunch. After lunch, we decided to go our separate ways. I thought about going to see the Mikaelsons again but decided against it since I was apparently moving in with them and spending the rest of their immortal lives by their side.
I eventually decided to go and see my other best friend, Damon. He always has something fun to do. I went home and changed quickly before heading over to the Salvatore Residence. As soon as I arrived I saw Damon in front of the fire place, drinking bourbon. Surprise surprise.
"Do you do anything other than drink bourbon, fan girl over Elena and and murder people?" I question teasingly.
"Yes, I hang out with you." Damon pointed out, turning around to face me.
"Ah yes. When you always have a glass of bourbon in hand whilst we talk about Elena." I say taking the glass from his hand and taking a swig before handing it back to him. "What's the latest on the Scooby Gang dramas?" I say before going to the kitchen and grabbing a can of lemonade which I bullied Damon into letting me keep there.
When I came back into the room Damon smiles before saying, "We found a way to kill Klaus."
Oh shit
Klaus is one of my mates.
Damon hearing my change in heart rate says, "What's wrong? This is a good thing." He then approaches me, sitting down beside me.
"Yeah, I guess. But you've said this before, that you guys have found a way to kill Klaus and spoiler alert, him and all of his siblings are walking around Mystic Falls as we speak." I say.
There is no way that they will be able to kill Klaus with all of the originals in town.
"That's how we're going to do it." Damon says smiling smugly.
"You're going to use an original to kill Klaus. You guys do remember what happened the last time you tried to do that, right?" I say. This plan is sounding dumber and dumber by the second.
"Yes I do remember" Damon starts, "but we aren't going to kill Klaus directly."
All of the siblings are linked. Oh Fuck.
"We'll kill Rebekah and with then all being linked, poof" Damon said mimicking an explosion with his hands, "no more original vampires."
"How are you going to kill Rebekah?" I question, still confused by the plan.
"White oak" Damon deadpanned. Noticing my confused expression he explains, "Wickery bridge, it was made out of white oak. There was another tree 300 years after the first one."
Oh no. Wait this plan might actually work.
"Do they now about the second tree?" I ask Damon, hoping that the Mikaelsons can take care of it themselves.
"They know it exists but they don't know we have it." Damon says taking another sip of his drink.
"What else is happening?" I question, hoping to not be suspicious because of how long we talked about the Mikaelsons.
"Ric has a murderous alter ego" Damon deadpans.
"WHAT?"
Damon and I talked for a while before I went home. When I got home I tried to fall asleep. Key word: tried.
I spent hours tossing and turning unable to fall asleep. I knew exactly why I couldn't sleep. It was because of what Damon said about killing all of the Mikaelsons. I knew I wasn't going to able to sleep unless I did something about it.
Lexi
Can I come over later morning? There is something I need to tell you guys.
Rebekah
Yes of course. Wait, why are you awake right now?
Lexi
That is part of what I need to tell you.
Wow I really need to get the other Mikaelsons' numbers.
After messaging to Rebekah, I turned off my phone and managed to get a couple hours of sleep before I had to get up the next morning.
When I got up in the morning I showered and got changed. I wore a brown bodysuit, washed out jeans and white sneakers. I did some simple makeup and left for the Mikaelson Mansion.
Once I arrived at the mansion and approached the door, I noticed that it was open and unlocked yet again. I thought it was weird but brushed it off and walked into the house.
I then noticed a trail of blood.
"That looks promising" I mumbled checking my surrounding for possible threats.
I decided to activate my inner horror movie character mode and follow the trail which led me to the living room. It didn't take long for me to find the source of the blood...

"Who did you piss off?" Lexi said as she leaned against the door frame of the living room. "Oh wait trick question. I can probably guess. I don't think you've actually spoken to Kol or Finn. Elijah or Klaus would have just killed you on the spot. So I'm gonna have to go with Rebekah on this one."
"Lexi?" Damon questioned opening his eyes slightly. He was extremely weak as a result of all the blood he had lost.
"The one and only" Lexi stated, "now was I right about Rebekah?" Damon groaned at the mention of the blondes name, not liking the reminder of his mistakes. "Going to take that as a yes" Lexi mumbled.
"Get me down" Damon groaned.
"Oh but Damon, I'm just getting started" Rebekah announced from behind Lexi. Lexi turned to meet her mate's eyes. "Hello, beautiful" Rebekah said, greeting Lexi.
Lexi smiled at the blonde before dropping her eyes to the range of pokers Rebekah was holding.
"Kinky, are we?" Lexi teased.
"Only for you" Rebekah said, smiling at the girls reaction to her acts against Damon.
"Ugh" Damon groaned from behind the girls, "I forgot you had a habit of sleeping with the enemy" he said referring to Lexi's relationship with Katherine.
Rebekah growled, baring her fangs at Damon. She was already mad at him and then he just ruined her moment with her mate by referring to her mate's sexual relations with others.
Not a good combo.
Rebekah then walked up the the vampire and impaled him through the abdomen with one of the pokers. She then held out one to her mate who seemed unphased by the man's injured state.
"Want to try?" Rebekah offered.
"If they haven't done anything directly to me I prefer to keep the torture and maiming to a 'watch only' basis." Lexi said earning a narrowed glare from Damon who knew she could easily take out the Original and help him escape.
"Speak for yourself" Rebekah said before twisting the poker which was inside Damon, earning a groan from the vampire.
"Rebekah, love" Klaus said after vamp speeding into the room with Kol, Elijah and Finn, "perhaps torturing him in front of our dear Lexi, isn't the best idea." Klaus said gesturing to Lexi who had gone back to leaning on the the door frame, watching Rebekah.
Damon furrowed his eyebrows clearly confused by Klaus' words before turning to Lexi, narrowing his eyes and mouthing 'our?'. Lexi mouthed back 'don't ask'.
"She fine" Rebekah said gesturing to Lexi's unphased expression, "right?"
"Peachy" Lexi said before removing herself from the wall. "I would say we could talk in the living room again but-" Lexi paused gesturing to Damon who was chained up in the direct centre of the room.
"Oh it's fine I can kill him once the vervain is our of his system." Rebekah said. "If you'd like?" She clarified not wanting to upset her mate.
"No it's okay" Lexi said, "he can live." Damon rolled his eyes at Lexi's words.
"You sure? I'd be happy to put him out of his misery." Rebekah said clearly wanting to kill Damon.
"I'm sure" Lexi said earning a nod from Damon. Rebekah instantly pulled out the poker and stepped away from Damon. He rolled his eyes and mouthed to Lexi 'simp'. Lexi narrowed her eyes at Damon. "On second thought-" Lexi started.
"I was kidding" Damon said quickly faking a smile to Lexi. Lexi rolled her eyes at his antics.
"Is there somewhere we can go to talk?" Lexi said changing the subject.
"The other living room, it's sound proof." Kol offered.
"Rich people shit" Lexi muttered under her breath.
Lexi and her mate's then made there way to the other living room. Klaus and Finn on either side of Lexi.
"What was it that you wanted to tell us?" Rebekah asked Lexi.
"I have a sneaking suspicion that it might be linked to why Damon is here." Lexi started.
"The white oak" Rebekah said, Kol, Elijah and Finn turn to their sister in shock.
"What?" Kol asked.
"There was another white oak tree" Klaus started. "Rebekah was supposed to get rid of it" Klaus continued, glaring at his sister.
"How is this at all Rebekah's fault?" Lexi said, defending her mate.
"Sorry, love" Klaus said afraid he had offended his mate.
"It's fine, Nik" Lexi said before continuing, "the new tree was used to make Wickery Bridge."
"Yeah, we already knew that. That's why I burnt down the bridge." Rebekah said evidently confused by how it could be relevant.
"Yeah, you did burn the bridge and that did destroy almost all of the white oak" Lexi said not sure how to break the new to them that the Scooby gang had white oak stakes.
"Almost?" Elijah asked.
"The sign was also made out of white oak" Lexi said. Each of her mate's shifts uncomfortably at the revelation.
"So we get the sign before the Salvatores." Kol suggested.
"They already have it" Lexi said quietly not sure how her mate's will react. "There are eleven stakes." She continued. Silence fell upon the group before Klaus took out his phone.
"What are you doing?" Rebekah asked.
"A trade. If Stefan wants his brother back he will give us the stakes." Klaus clarified.
"That was surprisingly simple" Lexi deadpanned. Klaus then put his phone away before moving closer to Lexi, his inner animal desperate for contact with his mate.
"I believe we have a conversation to continue." Elijah said, his inner animal feeling threatened by the close proximity of his mate and his brother.
Lexi nodded, understanding what Elijah was referring to. "Yes, love" Klaus uttered, "if it is okay with you, I think my siblings and I would all prefer it if you moved in with us." They all nodded in agreement, wanting to spend more time with their mate.
"Okay" Lexi said, "I'm open to that" Her mate's inner animals were extremely pleased by the idea of having their mate living with them. After talking for a while about different details of her living with them, they decided that it was best for Lexi to start off in her own room and when she was ready, to begin sleeping in each of their rooms.
Once they decided that she would begin moving in tomorrow, Stefan showed up with the stakes. Lexi had already asked on of them to compel Damon to forget she was there. Lexi left after Damon and Stefan.
