Chloe parted from Vlad a few seconds later. "I'm going to bathe," she murmured, carefully putting the dress into her storage ring.
"Information or invitation?" Vlad asked, a playful smile tugging at his lips.
Chloe took a small gasp, her cheeks turning red. "Shameless Vlad," she hissed before rushing into the bathroom with quick steps.
Vlad leaned back against the headboard. "I really managed to pull it off," he said to himself. When he told Seraphina that he also had feelings for Chloe, she became so furious that she had straight-up punched him. Still, she agreed to him having multiple relationships on the condition that his love for her must not be compromised. If polygynous relationships weren't a common occurrence in Argentum, Vlad would have gotten more than just a black eye.
But he was even more surprised that Chloe agreed so easily. He had expected her to beat him even more than Seraphina had.
