Chapter 115 - Chapter 115: The Birth of a Yandere

Chapter 115: The Birth of a Yandere

Watching Sophia's retreating back, the two of them exchanged a bewildered look. Only then did they notice Sael and Riel, who were hiding in the corner of the room, trembling uncontrollably.

"What on earth happened to you two?" Shirazawa asked, completely puzzled.

"Scared..."

It seemed Sophia had done something to them the previous night, leaving both girls with severe psychological trauma. The moment they heard his question, they shook violently all over again.

"Is it really going to be fine if this keeps up...?" Shiro asked weakly.

Before this, Sophia couldn't beat the spider girls at all, and that was still the case now. They had no idea what kind of method she had used to make them this terrified.

Shirazawa rubbed his temples with a growing headache. "Well, it's not like we have a better option anyway, so let's just leave it be."

"..."

When it came to Sophia's bizarre shift in personality, everyone was entirely out of ideas. With Merazophis and Ariel away, there was no one around who could actually keep her in check. Even if someone tried, it would amount to nothing more than a verbal lecture; it wasn't like they could actually do anything to her.

It was better to leave this massive headache for Ariel to worry about later. It was bound to be a monumental task, and the two completely checked-out slackers had absolutely zero intention of cleaning up this mess.

After a simple breakfast, the two of them returned to their usual routine, lounging comfortably on the chairs in the rear garden, leisurely enjoying their luxurious lifestyle.

Through the living room window, Sophia could clearly see the enviable scene unfolding outside.

*Damn it! Why do I have to study these useless, boring courses?!*

*Why do they get to ruthlessly enjoy their lives without a single care in the world?!*

*On what grounds?!*

The more Sophia watched, the angrier she became, desperately wishing she could charge out and give the two of them a thorough thrashing. She clenched her tiny fists, pressing her calligraphy brush so hard against the paper that it tore straight through the backing, leaving a deep, jagged ink smudge.

*Just you wait. Once I grow powerful enough in the future, I will make both of you experience every single ounce of the agonizing misery I'm suffering right now!*

Thinking this, a thoroughly wicked grin spread across her face. However, paired with her high-pitched, childish toddler voice, the expression looked exceptionally eerie no matter how one sliced it.

"Student Sophia, no daydreaming during class."

The tutor's stern voice rang out, forcing Sophia to instantly tighten her small face.

"Today's curriculum is exceptionally heavy. First, we will review yesterday's formal etiquette protocols. Furthermore, your walking posture lacks sufficient elegance, and the same goes for your dining manners."

"Understood." Sophia nodded obediently, lowering her eyes in a perfectly submissive display.

"Very well. After reviewing your schoolwork, we will be adding a brand-new course starting today: dancing lessons." The tutor nodded in satisfaction before continuing to map out the new workload. "Social ballroom dancing is an indispensable etiquette required of the nobility. You must be elegant, you must be poised, you must be..."

The endless, tedious coursework left Sophia feeling completely suffocated. Yet, the more restricted she felt, the more intensely envious she became of the couple outside the window.

On what grounds was she the only one being forced to master all these things?! She utterly refused to accept this reality!!

The dense resentment brewing within her soul was instantly sensed by Riel and Sael, who were weaving fabric not far away, causing their bodies to shudder slightly.

*So scary, so scary, so scary...*

Sensing the looks her two older sisters were throwing her way, Sophia immediately snapped her head around, glaring back at them with absolute savagery.

"What are you staring at?! Keep looking and I'll gouge your eyeballs right out of your sockets!!"

Riel and Sael: ━((*′д`)爻(′д`*))━!!!

When oppression reaches its absolute limit, an explosion is inevitable. She desperately required an outlet to vent her frustration; otherwise, she was going to go completely insane.

---

*Bam!*

The main entrance was violently shoved open, instantly drawing everyone's attention.

It was yesterday's delinquent, Bloe. It looked like Sophia had finally found the perfect punching bag to release her pent-up rage.

Although the old butler had faithfully promised to keep Bloe away from the guests, it seemed the old servant had currently gone to the Demon King's Castle to handle some administrative affairs, giving the youth the perfect opportunity to slip through the cracks.

Bloe had completely shed his usual sleazy demeanor, walking into the room with wide, confident strides, his target locked squarely onto Shiro.

"Hey! You, come with me," Bloe commanded, looking down his nose at her.

Shiro raised her eyes, swept a flat gaze over him, and completely ignored his existence. She calmly continued sipping her coffee, acting as though he weren't even in the room.

Shirazawa, however, narrowed his eyes. He stood up, deliberately blocking Shiro from view, and spat out a single, freezing word: "Get lost."

Everyone in the room braced themselves, expecting Bloe to instantly lose his temper and throw hands. To their utter bewilderment, the youth's face flushed a deep crimson as he took two awkward steps backward.

*Damn it! He really is a guy!*

In Sophia's eyes, this hesitant display was the ultimate sign of cowardice. Seizing the opportunity, she immediately began to fan the flames.

"Oh, wow~ Weren't you acting incredibly tough just a second ago? Now you don't even dare to let out a single peep. You don't possess a shred of a man's backbone. You're nothing but a superficial, weak-willed thug who bullies the vulnerable and cowers before the strong."

"What did you just say?!"

Hearing those words, Bloe's anger instantly flared to a boiling point, his eyes glaring viciously at the loud-mouthed little brat.

"What? Did a few accurate words leave you feeling utterly humiliated?"

"If it's not the truth, why don't you prove it to us? ~" Sophia continued to pour oil onto the fire, her inner voice screaming frantically: *Fight! Fight! Fight!*

Her eyes shone with pure, unadulterated excitement, desperately anticipating a massive, violent brawl between them.

However, the outcome defied everyone's expectations. While Bloe might look like a meatheaded idiot on the surface, he had held the position of Vice-Commander of the Demon King's Fourth Army for a very long time; he was far from being a simple-minded fool.

Usually, since his older brother Balto was completely overwhelmed with handling the civilian affairs of the demon race, the entire administration of the military legion was managed strictly by Bloe. His combat achievements were highly recognized by everyone, and beneath his gruff, hostile exterior, he possessed a remarkably warm heart, frequently extending aid to refugees in disaster-stricken areas.

Not only did his direct subordinates hold him in incredibly high regard, but even many of the maids within this estate harbored deep feelings of affection for the young master. He existed as a massive contradiction to his current delinquent persona. Though he had a remarkably short fuse, he was definitely not stupid.

"Hmph!"

"Why on earth should I prove anything to a little brat like you? Who do you think you are!"

"Little girl, go back to your boring lessons and stop sticking your nose into other people's business." He arched his head arrogantly, looking down at Sophia with a face full of absolute disdain.

"You!"

Sophia's face puffed up with pure rage, the tiny universe brewing inside her instantly erupting past the breaking point. In particular, the youth's mocking words had cleanly pierced right through her sore spot, making her exponentially more furious.

*This absolute bastard!!* She wanted nothing more than to rip his arrogant mouth right off his face!!

Freezing, razor-sharp ice elements began to rapidly condense in the surrounding space, causing the entire manor to instantly feel as though it had plunged into the dead of a brutal winter.

Bloe naturally refused to back down. Blazing, volatile fire elements surged around his body, matching her intensity note for note.

The cold front and the heatwave clashed violently right between them, causing the very air to crackle and pop with intense pressure. The surrounding bystanders were treated to a firsthand experience of a literal heaven of ice and fire.

"What are you staring at?!"

"I'm staring at you, so what?!"

"Try looking at me again and see what happens?!"

"I'll look all I want, try me!"

Behaving exactly like two elementary school children engaged in a petty playground argument, the two of them fired rapid-fire insults back and forth, bringing the impending battle to a hair-trigger edge.

Right at that exact millisecond, a thoroughly familiar voice boomed from outside the doorway.

"Stop this instant!!"
