Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 1

Years passed very quickly. It still feels like I was a first-year just a few months ago, yet here I am—already in my third year of high school. Graduation is getting close. Exams are coming.

As I walked, everything felt… off. I don't know why,I'm not feeling well. i am talking about Mentally.

Out of nowhere, my friends decided we should hang out. It would seem normal to anyone else, but to me, it felt strange. In the past two years, we never once had a proper hangout—especially not outside of school.

As I walked, something caught my eye.

The orchids are blooming early.

Red shades.

"Yui! Why the hell are you walking so slow?"

My head snapped up at the sound of my name.

"Sorry, just thinking."

"We have to get to the park and wait for the others."

"You're going too fast. They're always late anyway," I sighed.

"Not this time," my friend replied.

"Why did you dye your hair white and leave the bangs black?"

"Looks cool."

"Weird fashion sense."

"Not weird at all." I smirked slightly.

"Who even planned the hangout suddenly?"

"Agott. She said we're graduating soon, so at least we should have a proper hangout once."

"Well, it's good."

Agott…

I'm glad she managed to fit in. More importantly, I'm glad they accepted her. Just a few days ago, she was being bullied—until I saved her. Well, "saved her" might be too much. I just told the teachers.

Still… it helped.

When we reached the park, to my surprise—almost everyone was already there, except one. At least we weren't the late ones.

As we gathered, one of them turned to me.

"Yui, Agott is waiting for you."

"Where is she?"

"She went to the river near the park."

"The river? Seriously? That place is basically in the forest. I'm not going there alone."

"Oh, come on. It just has more trees. Don't be such a scaredy cat."

"…Alright." I let out a reluctant sigh.

I reached the river. I spotted her standing there and walked closer.

.

.

I couldn't breathe.

What happened?

A sharp pain shot through my head. Before I could even turn around, my head was forced underwater. I tried to grab the hand as I scratched it.

A flinch escaped that person's mouth.

A woman.

It hurts.

I can't breathe.

It hurts…

Very lame way to die.

At least it would have been better if I died some other way.

I died without ever knowing why they did it.

The last thing I saw was Agott, standing nearby.

______

I woke up.

For a moment, I thought I'd be in hell… or, if I was lucky, in a hospital.

Yeah—like that was ever going to happen.

I opened my eyes only to find myself is a train?

"where the hell am I?"

I end up getting killed or something

and end up in a holy cow train.

I have to calm down.

But i can't.

Why the hell my life like thisT_T

The train looks like a normal one.

The length,height is as usual.

The seats are in order.

Nothing unusual here.

Outside the window stretched an endless landscape of green fields beneath a clear blue sky. No buildings, no people—nothing else.

Well that's not normal of course.

Did I end up in some kind of dreamcore or backrooms?

Not exactly a glamorous way to die.

I stood up and looked around. Above me, a sign flickered:

Last Stop: SILLIA

Arrival: 10:00

09:58

A countdown.

And I'm not dumb enough to just sit and wait for whatever happens at the "last stop." Luck has never been on my side.

So I moved forward, passing through one compartment after another.

I pass through compartment after compartment.

At first, it felt like I was making progress. The scenery outside shifted slightly. There was a little house in the landscape now.And soon there were many houses. But inside the train… nothing changed.

not even posters, compartment numer nothing changed.

Every compartment was identical.

Same seats. Same layout. Same silence Same number.

A loop.

Great. So I die and wake up in some kind of twisted, fictional puzzle world? Not exactly what I had in mind.

First things first.

I am not the main character of some kinda anime.

I have to think it's not like some solution will come up.

Breaking a loop should be simple, right?

Yeah. Very wrong.

I tried everything—changing patterns, leaving marks, counting steps. Nothing worked. Every attempt reset like it never happened.

Honestly, it would've been better if there was an easy answer.

Time kept ticking.

Five minutes left.

Why the time is going on

but everything is same?

why just why?

Even the scenery had a pattern—endless greenery, then a single house, then a cluster of houses… and then it repeated.

Weird. I thought this would be some horror-type situation.

Probably like a monster or whatever.

Instead, it feels like a puzzle.

So I just need to find the right track. The right clue—if there is one.

The train exists in three-dimensional space.

And according to relativity, a time loop would mean the path of time curves and repeats.

But this isn't a time loop.

Time is still moving forward.

The problem isn't time—

It's the place.

A curved path…

If the train is moving in a loop—circular or oval—then there must be a turning point.

A flaw.

A crack in the path.

I need to find a clue.

This compartment is about 40 to 45 square feet—an average size, I guess.

The compartment number is the same

7110

Look for clues…

Same compartment number?

I've probably crossed around ten compartments by now.

I turned back.

Got to bet on my luck.

9…

8…

7…

The scenery outside—

Green fields… and a house.

But this house is different.

And the compartment—

It's slightly smaller than the others.

How did I not notice this before?

Damn it… my brain.

This has to be it.

The turning point.

The crack.

But timing matters too.

The right moment…

When did I pass this compartment?

I checked the clock.

Now there are three minutes left.

I checked the door.

It's… moving.

Not like the others.

This has to be the turning point.

Now I just need the exact moment—the moment the train turns.

I calmed myself and focused on every movement.

Every shift.

Every vibration.

Now.

I lunged forward and pushed the door with all my strength.

It...opened.

A cold breeze rushed in.

I should've worn a coat.

I stepped closer and looked outside—

—and everything shattered.

The green fields broke apart into cubes, the sky cracking like glass. Fragments scattered, slicing through the air.

One grazed my face.

"Ouch…"

It hurted like hell.

When I looked again, I realized

The train wasn't on land.

It was moving through water.

A river.

Weird but

guess I got lucky this time.

I pushed forward.

Time: 2 minutes.

The last compartment.

Finally.

Ahead of me—the control panel.

One minute left.

A keypad blocked the way to open the door. I had to enter a code to unlock the button that could stop the train.

There was a small note as i read it.

of course—I only get three tries.

Perfect.

I searched the area. Posters lined the walls, each with numbers.

Four digits.

I typed them in:

5-6-0-1

…Denied.

"Why is my life like this…"

Focus. Don't panic.

i might die actually here.

or maybe i died.

whatever.

I looked again—this time at the compartment number.

7-8-1-0

…Denied.

Of course.

One try left.

I scanned everything. Every corner. Every detail.

Nothing.

Nothing—

Then it hit me.

S -5

I- 1

L-7

A-4

5-1-7-4

At least typing fast is something I'm good at.

The keypad showed.

Processing...

"Finally" A breath i didn't realize holding escaped.

Then-

ERROR

".. seriously? Why do i have the worst luck?"

20 seconds left.

The train didn't slow down.

The keypad was useless.

And ahead…

There was only darkness waiting at the end of the river.
