And it reminded me: I only remembered getting shot, and now I'm in this really good-looking place with a big mouse with a unicorn horn standing in front of me. And then that creature replied, "What do you mean, who am I!? I'm your familiar, Jayka. And I know you hate goat flies, but that doesn't mean you don't know them. Like, really, what the hell is wrong with you? Shaking me off like that. Oh wait, don't tell me you lost your memory after you got hit in the head." After hearing that, I got a lot more confused, and I told it I never lost my memory, but still, it gave me a suspicious look. But I was still more confused because I don't know what the hell it is and why it has my best friend's name, and why that world looked so different, or why I was still alive. So I decided to play along and told it I didn't know what's going on, so I might have lost my memory, so he should tell me what's going on.
And it started walking around me like it was investigating a crime scene and suddenly jumped on me, saying, "Oh my God, Yuji, I can't believe this happened. So I told it I agreed, and it began the whole talk: "Well, your name is Yuji, and I believe you still know that. You are an 18-year-old living in Cavania, right here. And I'm your familiar, a species that is assigned to citizens in Cavania to assist them. But just so you know, it's only people who need familiars that get them, and you here are very clumsy and don't know how to control your magic, so you were given a familiar to help you out.
"And moreover, you are the only human in Cavania since your parents died when you were just five, but the rest of the people here are ghouls, fairies... you know, whatever stuff. But don't worry, other humans exist, but they are in Javille, the capital of the human town and other cities. So, are you clear?"

After we got in and I got to my supposed-to-be room, I got on the bed and asked him, "Jayka, you were talking about magic. So does that mean I have magic?"
"Yes, of course," he replied quickly, but stopped again and said, "It's water magic, just like many other humans, but you can't control it and end up causing a lot of problems. That's what you got me for."
Hearing that got me excited yet a little disappointed, so I tried to do some magic tricks, and he stopped me, saying, "You can't do it like that." And he showed me a hand sign, which I did, and then water came out of nowhere but splashed on my face, and he laughed, saying, "You see, that's what I meant. You can't control it, but don't worry. Dashina is gone for a trip to the human city to get you a job there. And before you ask who she is, she is your caretaker who took you in after you were found alone as a baby, she is a fairy."
But that didn't really matter to me because I don't know who the hell they were, so I asked my most awaited question to see if I finally got my dream come true. So I asked him if I got a girlfriend, but I got shocked after he told me no and started explaining, "As I said, this place has no humans, and you, as a human, can't be in a relationship with a ghoul or any other creature unless you get to the human city or one of the mix cities, and that won't be until you are 20."
That really shocked me and killed my spirit. Now I got into the same situation again, so I asked him if there was a way to get a human girlfriend easily, and he said, "I don't think so, but unless you wanna look for that story girl. People have been saying she's the most beautiful girl in the world, but she is hidden somewhere and is waiting to marry the one who finds her. Can you believe that? Like, I know this world got a lot of surprises, but that's isn't true, but actually, who knows, maybe it is."
After hearing that, I thought for a moment and decided on one thing: if I try to get one of the human girls, I will still end up single since I'm still not the type to talk to girls, so I will search for that girl.
