Chapter 112 - A Conversation with Trunks, Zeru Returns to the Dragon Ball GT Timeline

Who exactly was the owner of the Multiverse Chat Group?

A glint of curiosity flashed in Zeru's eyes.

Without hesitation, he focused his consciousness and entered the chat group. Very quickly, he realized that the group owner was completely anonymous—there was no name, no identifiable information at all.

"Another newcomer?! Welcome, welcome! @Zeru!"

—Multiverse Chat Group Owner

"Damn, the group owner actually showed up."

—Call Me Daddy

"Throwing confetti! Who would've thought the group owner, who appears once every hundred years, would show up today!"

—Ancient Tomb Sect Xiaolongnü

The moment Zeru entered, he saw the entire group erupting in excitement over the owner's appearance. His eyes narrowed slightly. To be honest, he hadn't expected that being @mentioned by the group owner would directly notify him mentally. That alone made him wonder—was this group owner some kind of supreme being?

"System, this group owner's identity is extremely mysterious. Can you detect anything about him?" Zeru asked internally.

If even the system couldn't sense or analyze the group owner, then Zeru would seriously consider leaving this chat group altogether.

Just in case—

He really meant just in case—

What if this group owner was some ultimate powerhouse targeting him?

"Host, please rest assured. The group owner of this Multiverse Chat Group poses no threat to you. While he may have authority over most members in the group, he has absolutely no ability to control you or perceive your full capabilities," the system replied.

"I see."

Hearing that, Zeru relaxed slightly.

"@Multiverse Chat Group Owner, hello. I've been busy dealing with some matters lately."

After a brief pause, Zeru sent a message.

"@Zeru, so you're from the Dragon Ball world? I checked the chat history—you said you're about to participate in the Tournament of Power? But honestly, I've never heard of you in the Dragon Ball universe."

—Multiverse Chat Group Owner

Zeru's gaze sharpened as he read the message. It wasn't hard to tell—this group owner had definitely seen Dragon Ball before.

"Interesting… @Zeru, are you a transmigrator?"

—Multiverse Chat Group Owner

As soon as that message appeared, the entire group exploded.

"Transmigrator?!"

"I think I've heard of that! Isn't it someone who travels from one world to another?!"

"Damn, @Zeru, I heard transmigrators are always the main characters of their worlds!"

Zeru glanced through the chat. He spotted names like Minato Namikaze and Taoist Zhang Sanfeng—names he recognized immediately.

But the way they spoke… it felt oddly familiar, almost like he had joined some overly enthusiastic internet chat group from his previous life.

"@Zeru, have you met Beerus, the God of Destruction? I've heard he's incredibly powerful, the strongest in Universe 7 aside from Whis."

—Multiverse Chat Group Owner

"@Multiverse Chat Group Owner, yeah. I beat him up a few years ago."

Zeru replied directly.

He wasn't exaggerating. Not only Beerus—even Champa from Universe 6 had been beaten by him years ago.

A string of ellipses appeared in the chat.

Zeru frowned slightly. What—this guy didn't believe him?

"@Zeru, sorry… it's not that I don't believe you. It's just that in my understanding, there's no one named Zeru in Dragon Ball. So… are you really a transmigrator?"

—Multiverse Chat Group Owner

A few seconds later, the owner tagged him again.

"Open a live feed sometime if you're curious. I'm busy now. Don't @ me unless necessary, thanks."

Zeru replied bluntly.

Honestly, he was already getting a bit annoyed. The group owner was way too talkative for his liking. He had noticed earlier that the group allowed scene sharing, meaning he could stream his surroundings live to prove everything.

But there was no point.

If they believed him, they believed him. If not, so be it.

He had nothing to gain from proving himself, so why waste time and effort?

Pulling his consciousness back to reality, Zeru glanced around. Everyone else had already left. The small courtyard was quiet, leaving only him sitting there.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

Footsteps approached.

Zeru turned his head—it was Future Trunks.

"Mr. Zeru…" Trunks hesitated before speaking, clenching his teeth. "You clearly have the power to destroy Zamasu and Black Goku instantly. Why won't you do it?"

Zeru glanced at him calmly. "To me, they're nothing but ants. But to you, they're powerful enemies. Saiyans grow through battle—through injury and recovery."

He paused slightly before continuing, "To me, the lives of others matter less than your growth. Whether you understand that or not is up to you."

Trunks froze.

He had come here intending to question Zeru—but now, he was lost.

Completely lost.

He wasn't stupid. He understood exactly what Zeru meant.

Only by growing stronger themselves could they truly overcome future threats. Yes, the first wave of people might fall—but if they grew, there wouldn't be a second wave of casualties.

Pat.

Zeru stood up and lightly patted Trunks on the shoulder, smiling faintly. "Growth always comes with sacrifice. That's something you should understand better than anyone."

"Alright, it's time for me to leave. Staying here so long… I almost forgot how long it's been since I last saw my family."

As soon as he finished speaking, his figure flickered—and vanished from the courtyard.

"Mr. Zeru…"

Trunks stared at the spot where he had been standing, murmuring softly. Slowly, determination filled his eyes.

Meanwhile, Zeru had already left—

Returning to the Dragon Ball GT timeline.
