Zeru remained in the Dragon Ball Super timeline for several more months before finally returning to the Dragon Ball GT world together with his wives and daughter.

The instant he arrived home, Zeru sensed an extremely familiar aura.
It belonged to Son Goku.
"So it's already time for the battle against Baby?"
His eyes flickered.
Then he pressed two fingers to his forehead.
Instant Transmission.

In the next second, Zeru appeared in a vast wasteland.
Far away, Super Saiyan 4 Goku was currently fighting Baby.

The two exchanged punches and were both pushed back over ten meters.
"You can't defeat me, Baby."
Goku stared calmly at him.
"The gap between our powers is far too large now."
Whoosh!
The moment his voice fell, Goku vanished.
He instantly appeared before Baby and slammed a punch into his abdomen.
"Gah!"
Baby spat blood as he was blasted backward.
Boom!
Goku immediately followed up from above.
A rain of energy blasts exploded across Baby's body.
"AAAAHHH!"
Baby's screams echoed through the battlefield.
"Kame…"
"Hame…"
"Ha!!!"
Just as Goku prepared to finish him off with a Kamehameha, golden light suddenly erupted from Baby's body.
ROAR!!!
In the next instant, Baby transformed into a gigantic Golden Great Ape.
The golden ape roared furiously.
Then, with one massive hand, he swatted Goku's Kamehameha aside as though it were nothing.
After pounding his chest twice, he opened his mouth and fired a devastating energy beam at Goku.
BOOOOM!!!
Explosions erupted everywhere.
The battlefield was engulfed in flying debris and dust.
Goku's expression changed drastically.
Hovering in the air, he stared at the destruction below.
"This guy… his power is incredible!"
"How did he become a Great Ape?!"
The Golden Great Ape Baby continued rampaging wildly, destroying everything in sight.
"Hmph."
Goku narrowed his eyes coldly.
"You really think I'm scared of you?"
Whoosh!
He instantly teleported onto Baby's shoulder.
But before he could attack, Baby suddenly pointed a finger.
A purple beam shot straight into Goku's chest.
"UGH!"
Goku cried out in pain as he was blasted away.
"What?!"
"How are his reactions this fast?!"
Then Baby soared into the sky.
"Revenge Death Ball!"
A terrifying sphere of dark energy rapidly condensed above his hands.
It was one of Baby's ultimate killing moves.
He clearly intended to obliterate Goku completely.
"NANI?!"
Yet when the Revenge Death Ball struck Goku, nothing happened.
Baby's eyes widened in shock.
Goku casually dusted himself off.
"I'm not the same as before."
"I'm many times stronger now."
Then Goku suddenly froze.
"Wait…"
"You can talk now?!"
"Hahahahaha!"
Baby crossed his arms and burst into laughter.
"You idiot. You finally realized it?"
Goku's face darkened.
"Don't tell me…"
"That's right!"
Baby laughed even louder.
"Remember whose body I'm inhabiting!"
"I, Baby, am merely a parasite!"
"The one I possess… is Vegeta!"
Goku's expression became ugly.
"So earlier, you were pretending all along?"
"You wanted me to lower my guard?"
"Exactly."
Baby sneered proudly.
"I was simply testing the limits of this form's power."
"And now I know."
"My strength has completely surpassed yours!"
"You really are confident."
Goku snorted coldly.
"RAAAAH!"
Boom!
He exploded forward once more.
But Baby merely slapped him aside with one hand.
Bang!
Goku was smashed into a mountain.
The entire peak collapsed around him.
"Hahahahaha!"
Baby laughed arrogantly.
"Did you feel it, Son Goku?!"
"Stop struggling!"
"The gap between us is too great now!"
"You can't possibly defeat me!"
Suddenly—
Whoosh!
Goku reappeared before Baby.
BANG!
A punch slammed directly into Baby's face.
Baby flew backward.
Goku pursued instantly, grabbed him, and hurled him violently into the ground.
A gigantic crater formed.
"Kamehameha!!!"
Blue energy gathered between Goku's palms.
Baby sneered.
"Super Galick Gun!"
Boom!!!
The two attacks collided.
The sky trembled violently.
Blue and purple light engulfed the heavens.
Watching from afar, Zeru's eyebrows lifted slightly.
If he remembered correctly, in the original timeline this battle wasn't supposed to happen on Earth, but on Planet Plant.
And in the original story, Baby's Super Galick Gun destroyed Earth itself, driving Goku into even greater rage and leading to the birth of the Ten Times Kamehameha.
But now…
This ordinary Kamehameha clearly wouldn't be enough.
Sure enough—
"NANI?!"
Although Goku's beam overpowered Baby's attack, when the energy finally struck Baby's body…
