I spent the next couple of hours researching the different types of specialized magic.
When I try to evolve my core, I had a whole plethora of them to choose from. There were honestly too many. That's why I decided to research each of the specialized magic I came across, but most of them were nothing but fluff that seemed to take away more than they give.
In fact, most specialized magics were more like defects, and they were described as such.
They were very abstract, some only found in a certain tribe in a certain place in Verseia and never documented anywhere else.
Others were birth defects and players who just happened to possess this type of specialized magic.
And the others that weren't totally useless didn't seem like they would mesh well with my class and affinities.
The ones that I was currently considering were rune magic and spirit magic. But even those didn't seem to fit what I wanted.
