Synopsis
The world is a canvas created by the mind to make us appreciate the past; reality, a series of slides within the memory. Sebastián was neither a scientist nor a scholar. He was a silent observer, an immigrant in Bogotá who found more value in the solitude of a drizzle than in the company of men. But even a solitary observer can be perceived as a threat. After being betrayed and murdered by those who feared the depth of his reflections, his consciousness transmigrates into the body of Li Yi, a young man with a shattered cultivation base in a world where strength is the only law. Now, in a reality governed by the laws of Xianxia, Li Yi does not seek to be a hero or a savior. He does not fight for his "brothers" out of altruism, but because it is the necessary path to follow his own way. He is no saint, yet neither is he a demon; he is an unwavering will that lives to discover the totality of existence and, above all, himself. While other cultivators compete for glory and power, Li Yi uses his capacity for wonder and his detachment from the mundane to question the laws of energy and spirit. His journey is a lonely quest to understand every flicker in the totality, striving threefold—not out of duty, but for the satisfaction of surpassing his own limits. This is the story of a man who walks alone toward the unthinkable, until becoming a being that exists beyond the absolute.

Chapter 1 - Beyond Meta-absolute Chapter 1: End of a path

Why is it that I only favor sunny days? Clouded and rainy days are supposed to be the most auspicious for reflection and meditation.

Lately, I have mastered my thoughts, ceasing the endless cycle of overthinking.

In the streets of Bogotá, while motorists and street vendors shout and wander in search of the day's profit, I merely observe the passage of time—flowing like the streams of water at the edges of the sidewalks, born from the constant drizzle of this capital city and tourist destination of this beautiful land.

I am an immigrant, a wanderer traveling far and wide, seeking the best path to earn my livelihood.

I am a devotee of deep thought and difficult questions.

I often find myself hypnotized while observing the cosmos or the sweet words of the sophisticated poems I read, attempting to find a meaning beyond the canvases created by our minds to make us appreciate past moments—like slides flickering in our memory.

Today I am here, at my new place of toil, merely hoping that in the coming hours I might find the meaning to some new enigma within my thoughts.

I, who usually relish solitude and silent moments, rarely dedicate a portion of my consciousness to remembering my family, who—who knows where—remain scattered across the world, seeking what they have always sought:Happiness.

That sense of fulfillment that only manifests when one is free of worries and blurs their own desires to witness those around them enjoying the simple act of being gathered together.

Happiness—that word everyone claims to understand but few can etch into their own world—is like rain in the desert: fleeting, only for the overwhelming heat to later erase every trace of it.

Some time ago, I was watching a video on classical physics: space-time, black holes, and relativity.

What intrigued me most was the nature of time—how space is meant to curve and expand, and how time interacts with it.

Then, I formed a hypothesis where the primary question was: "What if, just as space expands, time expands as well?"The moment I concluded the hypothesis with certain complex calculations and other theories, a clear and new vision of space-time and reality, as I knew it, took shape.

This hypothesis could explain the inner workings of black holes and what lies within them: spaces where gravity forbids time from expanding and flowing, to the point where matter disintegrates and transforms into energy that gravity continues to compress along with space and time.

A point is reached where time can no longer expand and comes to a halt, becoming a frozen space brimming with energy; a space where, with time arrested, gravity can no longer compress—proving that black holes are, in reality, cosmic batteries that continue to absorb and gorge themselves on energy.

In the following days, I sent the hypothesis in the form of letters to distinguished expert physicists through various networks.

As the days turned into weeks, my hopes began to wither due to the silence of the researchers.

Sometime later, I received a letter from the distinguished scientific journal Physics Letters, informing me that in a few days, they would provide a response regarding the submitted hypothesis.

Immediately, I purchased a bus ticket to travel to my family and receive the news by their side.

In the ensuing days, I spent my time settling affairs at my work and the apartment where I resided before the journey.

On the morning of my departure, I set out early for the bus terminal to await the start of my trek, and I began to feel a strange sensation.

On the way, I called my mother:

"Hello, mother, your blessing. In a few hours, I will take the bus home so we may await the answer together."

"What a blessing, my son. I knew my son Sebastián would achieve great things for the world and help humanity become better."

At that moment, Sebastián stood at the edge of the road. A bus passed at high speed, and in an instant, a man emerging from the shadows pushed him.

His mobile phone fell to the ground.

Thanks to his swift reflexes, Sebastián managed to shift his center of gravity and evaded the vehicle.

In that heartbeat, he looked at the person who had tried to hurl him into the path of the bus, and his eyes filled with rage.

He lunged toward the man, who drew a knife from his waist and also threw himself upon him.

The stranger swung the blade with the intent of striking Sebastián's face; Sebastián blocked it by placing his hand in the way, allowing the steel to pierce through it.

With his other arm, he parried the man's punch; with his leg, he executed a sweep, and with a palm to the aggressor's face, he brought him to the ground—demonstrating the years he had dedicated in his youth to the martial arts.

On the ground, he managed to wrest the knife away, and now, all of Sebastián's rage overflowed through his eyes.

With the weapon in his hands, he decided to grant a lesson in "reciprocal consciousness" by stabbing it repeatedly into the arms of the man who tried to shield himself.

"Why?" Sebastián screamed.

"Why do you wish to decide how far I travel along the long river of time? What makes you think you can cast a person to their death out of the pure malice in your heart?"

In that instant, in the distance, a police patrol passed by. Noticing one person atop another, raining down cuts with a knife, they approached rapidly and began shouting for him to release the man.

Sebastián, absorbed in adrenaline and drowned in his hatred, failed to hear them. The officers, seeing that he would not stop, had no choice but to open fire, striking him down.

In that moment, Sebastián realized he could not move. The hatred in his eyes did not cease to intensify as he felt life slipping from his hands.

So close he had been to fulfilling his dream of proving his greatness to the world, of helping to comprehend this grand universe and becoming a greater part of it...

In his mind, the faces of his parents and great friends appeared, wishing he had shared more time with them.

He remembered a phrase he had heard long ago:"Happiness is only real when shared."

His gaze sank, and he felt his consciousness reaching the darkest place that could possibly exist.
