Runaways Rest Inn

Su Yansheng had died in service to his country. He was a Duke who had led 100,000 soilders to protect the capital against the invasion of the Gorgoyeons of an army of 1 million soilders. Hearing the cheers of his people, realizing the war had been won, the spear he had been holding suddenly felt heavy in his hands, so did his limbs and his eyes. The last thing he saw was a crimson sunset, if it was from the blood dripping from his head, he wasn’t sure, but looking to the side, he saw the palace walls, and someone with strong shoulders standing on it, he could finally let go. Waking up, he found himself the owner of an inn that welcomed lost and anguished souls in a space that never ran out of food, accommodation and gossip to listen to from his customers. Was this the universe giving him a retirement package, he wondered as he laughed heartily, but why were the stories of his customers always about the trashy and horrible men in their lives? Su Yansheng just knew the universe wasn’t so generous. This is the story of a general who died for his country and king, and thinking he could finally relax for some peace and quiet, he had to raise his sleeves and become a therapist to his customers. “You were just the stand in, but after 7 years of devotion, he only gave you a house in the country side and a measly severance allowance of $10,000 as thanks and get lost?” “No problem! if you can’t bear to tear his face off, there is good food and company here, I won’t charge you anything.” “What, you stayed silently by his side, always providing your blood every two weeks to cure his illness from a cold poison but he thought you were crude and were only doing it for attention?” “No problem! we have ginseng and other things here that would make sure you never run out of blood.” “Don’t you like being a blood bag?” Yansheng asked sarcastically. Seeing the white rabbit in front of him actually smile and thank him, Yansheng almost fainted out of anger. “Dear heaven, take me back to the battlefields, I won’t complain again. Are you listening, I said take me back!!!” Yansheng roared to the sky. At this point, the door to the inn opens. A tall looming shadow blocks out the sunlight and a faint scent of cedarwood fills the space. “I’ve finally found you.” Turning to look towards the door, Yansheng sees the new visitor and immediately regrets trying to bargain with the heavens. He was happy here, he would definitely never complain again, he screamed in his mind, but outwardly, he had to put a smile on his face. “Your Majesty, what are you doing here.”

Inheritance Sake:Married to the Unapologetic Heir

"I need your name to save my father's properties. You need my brain to save your future. Let’s make a deal." Samantha’s life was a testament to love and resilience. After losing her mother young, she was the one who brought a new mother into their home—Sarah, a woman whose kindness healed their broken family. With three thriving farms, two busy shops, and a new baby sister named after her late mother, Samantha’s world was perfect. Until the screaming tires and twisted metal of a tragic accident took her father away. Before the tears could even dry, the "vultures" arrived. Her father’s extended family, fueled by greed, invoked a hidden clause in his will: Samantha cannot inherit the estate—the farms, the shops, the houses—unless she is thirty years old or married before the age of 30. To save her stepmother and her toddler sister from being thrown onto the streets, she must find a husband. Fast. On the other side , The quintessential "Golden Boy," Arthur has been shielded by his wealthy parents his entire life. Spoiled, arrogant, and brilliant but lazy, he fought for a year just for the right to live in a university hostel instead of at home. But his freedom comes with a price: he must excel in his courses and prove he can handle his father’s massive corporation. Their first meeting was a disaster. Their second was a negotiation. The Contract: * The Marriage: Arthur provides the legal status Samantha needs to crush her greedy relatives and secure her inheritance. * The Tuition: Samantha, the top student in their course, becomes Arthur’s private tutor and strategic advisor in his father’s company. * The Rule: No feelings involved. In a battle against tradition, betrayal, and the shadows of the past, can a girl who lost everything and a boy who has had too much find common ground? Or will the weight of their secrets tear the contract—and their hearts—apart?
