The Aura Tome Beneath the Dungeon
Tarin Vale is not an adventurer. He is a debt laborer on the lowest industrial floors of a world-sized dungeon, where men like him haul freight, strip salvage, and die in routes that matter more than they do. His family is drowning under the cost of a ruined expedition, his father's medicine, and an interest system built to keep the poor useful and afraid.
When a collapse cuts Tarin off from the known routes, he stumbles into a hidden sub-dungeon no modern guild should know exists. There he survives a brutal trial and claims the Black Burden Codex, an ancient tome that teaches the lost discipline of Aura Bearing: the power to impose force, resistance, and control over the space around him.
But the codex is not a gift. Every lesson costs blood, pain, and exposure. Tarin must hide his growing power while returning to the same labor system that would sell him, study him, or kill him if it understood what he found. As debts tighten, hidden routes awaken, and the dungeon's buried history begins to surface, Tarin climbs from disposable worker to dangerous anomaly, and eventually toward becoming a battlefield center whose very presence can change the rules of survival.
