Mako & Meteors: A Saiyan's Tale

Ryu wasn't supposed to be here. A normal gamer whose life was cut short by a speeding truck, he woke up inside a nursery tank on Planet Vegeta, right next to a baby named Kakarot. Before he could even process his new spiky hair and monkey tail, the tyrant Frieza blew the planet to dust.
Ryu’s escape pod was blasted lightyears off course. He didn't land on Earth. He crashed straight into the dystopian steel plates of Shinra Headquarters, twenty-two years before the events of Final Fantasy VII.
Pulled from the wreckage by a young, ambitious—and terrifyingly obsessive—Executive named Scarlet, Ryu is adopted as her secret weapon. But Ryu doesn't care about corporate espionage, the Wutai War, or draining the planet's Lifestream. He’s a Saiyan. He cares about three things: fighting insanely strong opponents, breaking his own limits, and finding enough Wagyu beef to satisfy his endless appetite.
Armed with meta-knowledge of two universes, raw martial arts, and the explosive power of Ki, Ryu sets out to completely derail the tragic fate of Gaia. He'll punch out mutant bio-weapons, spar with future legends like Zack Fair and Sephiroth, and completely disrupt the lives of everyone he meets—all while remaining blissfully oblivious to the crushes he leaves in his wake.
