Deep underground thousands and upon thousands of meters deep into the earth's crust inside one of the shelters made in the united states there was a giant open space with a giant white pillar which held up the ceiling, and on the four walls, there were four massive metal gates numbered 1-4. Inside these metals gates, there was row after row of doors with 4 levels going up and down and inside these rooms was apartments that had a living room, kitchen, bedroom, and one master bedroom. The rooms we're each of different sizes and configuration depending on the household family size. While the entire facility was dark the only sounds there was of constant beeping and when one looks into a bedroom they will see a cylindrical chamber with a human body inside sleeping. The chambers were called full immersion pods which let the user enter a deep sleep while being provided nutrients through a tube full of tier 4 military grade nutrient supplies, but the shelter pods we're reconfigured so that the nutrients supply was cut off and instead a chemical named SS-1 which slowed down a persons body function to a near stop allowing the body to not need nutrients. The pods in case of emergency still contained small tanks full of nutrient vials in case the body was in need or lacking nutrients.
The pod's sensors we're invisible and through an unknown method connected to the user's mind and body allowing full control. The pods each contained humanities surviving population and were inserted into a world of conquering. The game was named Hope V1 and was created to be as real as life. The simulation was created in an effort to find a perfect emperor of humanity to lead them into the future and to be able to accurately assess each person in a game they were separated into solo modes where they were the only player in their game and were inserted into different times and places in the world in an effort to see what they're capable of and what role they were most suited towards.
