Chapter 92 - Orion and Ra

"Fools? Fools?! You arrogant idiot, no one is a fool but you. Do you think you are so powerful in this universe? There are plenty who can crush you to death without even breaking a sweat. Furthermore, the future has already been decided! The fact that you are possessing this body already proves it!"

"ENOUGH!" Horus suddenly shouted, interrupting our debate.

"Ah, it seems our young Pharaoh can't take it anymore," I chuckled in disdain. He really thinks he is able to order us around when Ra and I are fully capable of killing him easily.

Horus glared at me and then addressed Ra, "Are you going to kill him or not, old man?"

"Careful with that tone, young one," warned Ra, frowning at the way Horus addressed him.

Horus, however, didn't seem to care, either because of his stupidity or because of his arrogance. Oh, wait, arrogance without power is stupidity itself. "Or else what? Just answer the damned question!"

"No. Not yet, at least," Ra replied bluntly, ignoring the boy after that.

"And why is that?" Horus asked, his tone almost threatening now.

However, I suddenly felt like I was drowning in sleep again, just like what happened with Nephthys back at my palace. Before long, I plunged into the depths of darkness once again.

I opened my eyes.

Using Nepthys's spell, I was able to push Set back for some minutes. Even better, I managed to block him from what is going to happen next so that he doesn't hear what I plan.

"Because you don't know everything, kid," I, Orion, replied while looking at Horus. This arrogant fool is one of the most well-known figures in the history of Midgard. This feat is most likely related to his Divine Eye, known as the Eye of Horus. But how he gets famous from it remains a mystery. I do not doubt that Set will have something to do with it, though.

For once, after seeing Isis' head, Ra seemed intrigued. He noticed the change in my demeanor and the aura surrounding me. Truth be told, Set and I seem to have the same aura, only differing slightly. I noticed the struggle of emotions that have been suppressed for centuries in Ra's ancient eyes.

"Father..." he finally muttered, peeling his eyes from mine before locking with them again.

"Father?" Horus repeated, bewildered at the sudden word and the implication from it.

"Hello, Ra," I replied with a complicated look on my face as well. I didn't know what to really think of Richard's son. Well, technically, he is considered my son...

Ra looked hurt as he said, "I never thought that I would see that face ever again in my remaining years..."

I didn't reply. He was very similar to me in terms of looks, although the skin on his face was wrinkled, along with the two burning eyes. His hair was of classic Pharaoh style: bald except for a patch of hair at the back of the head that was long enough to be held in a braid. It had the same color as Richard's, as dark as the night itself.

"Would someone tell me what's going on?" Horus shouted again. Both Ra and I looked at him as if we were waiting for him to say something, and we actually were. He gulped and forced himself to add meekly, "Please?"

"That's better," I said, nodding my head.

"This man here is my father," Ra sighed and explained."The clone of his father," I corrected. "I am Orion Fistore, Lord of Ice, Water, and Wind, also the clone of the Lord of Chaos."

"Never heard of you," Horus replied bluntly. "Where is Set?"

"Currently subdued, not for long, though. Ra, you do understand what needs to be done, right?"

"You would not expect me to harm your body?" Ra argued, almost offended at the suggestion.

"You can't hurt me, to be perfectly honest," I replied.

"What?"

"My body is very close to being invulnerable; only a few blades can pierce it. Set is going to be difficult to deal with while he's possessing my body. You talked about being able to delay Set? How much time?"

"I do not know the extent of his full power, so I cannot be certain. However, I can be sure to delay him for at least two hours."

"There's a problem, though," Horus intervened again. This kid needs to get off his high horse because he is really being annoying.

"Not really a problem, if you ask me," I smirked.

"How are you so different and yet so similar to him?"

I sighed, "Maybe he's starting to rub off on me."

"Killing the gods is a problem, I agree. However, we can't be sure what's going to happen and who is going to die," Ra said. "Back on track, I don't think I can even try to hurt you, Father."

I sighed again, "I never expected you to be..."

"So sentimental? Did you perhaps think that I am, what are the words... an arrogant prick?"

I smiled slightly at the sound of that. But suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my head.

"He's going to come back. Get out of here!"

Ra stood up and flew at great speed, followed by Horus. He looked back at me momentarily and said, "Give my love to my father."

"RA! I HOPE YOU CAN MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION!" I shouted as he disappeared from my sight.

I closed my eyes, and when I opened them, I was Set once again.
