"Xifeng! Where on earth have you been all night?" Xie Lanying asked anxiously, looking her up and down the second she saw her.
"Yeah! We were thoroughly startled when we woke up and did not see you anywhere nearby." Xie Yanlin added, shaking his head.
"Come on, guys, it is Xifeng we are talking about." Ning Shoukai simply shrugged his shoulders with a nonchalant grin. "Do we really ever need to worry about her safety? Honestly, I'd be far more worried about whatever poor soul ran into her in the dark!"

Xie Lanying instantly reached out and smacked Ning Shoukai hard right across the back.
"Ouch!" Ning Shoukai rubbed his sore back with a deeply pained expression, glaring at her with teary eyes. "What was that for?!"
"Don't open your mouth if you don't know how to speak properly!" Xie Lanying scolded him sharply, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Lanying, I swear, if you hit me one more time, I will..." Ning Shoukai began to protest loudly, puffing out his chest.
