The atmosphere in the clearing quickly became much more harmonious and lively as everyone enjoyed the warm breakfast together. Even though the meal was relatively simple compared to a noble feast, the hot, delicious food following such a terrifying, life-threatening night felt especially comforting to the exhausted family and guards.
After everyone had happily finished breakfast and packed away their camping gear, it was finally time to officially hit the road and continue their journey.
