A few days later the day has finally come whom everyone had been waiting for, the day of the graduation. It was the day where the graduation ceremony will be held and surprisingly it will be held at the arena which was once used for practice combat, now turned into a ceremonial venue.
The graduation ceremony serves as a grand, choreographed transition, a formal boundary between the structured world of academia and the vast uncertainty of what lies ahead. It typically begins with the processional, a rhythmic march where the air is thick and venue neatly arranged.
There is a palpable tension in the room a mixture of exhaustion from years of labor and an electric, burgeoning sense of relief.
In this moment family from afar gathered to support the graduating students and witness the step up to the next chapter of their lives. In this sense Shun was watching Sephiria being congratulated by Duke Alan and Duchess Cecile his wife.
They were quite happy to see that their daughter had finally graduated from the academy. In fact they never thought that this day would come especially since Sephiria's previous condition and her pat mindset. With that they were truly grateful towards Shun since he had changed everything.
From the pitiful child back then, Sephiria right now was the most happiest she can be.
"Thank you for everything Shun, I really meant it. Ever since you arrived and fixed the issue regarding her unstable mana, I can now always see my daughter happily smiling more frequently now" said by Duchess Cecile
"Ahahaha! It's nothing, I just helped her because I can't take seeing someone like her feel down... well I just didn't realize tk reach this situation where I will get engaged to her" replied by Shun
"What do you mean?" Asked by the Duchess
"Well because I'm a commoner, so I never expected to get married to a noble" said by Shun
"Oh that practice where it is shameful for a noble to marry a commoner? Well that was scraped a long time ago by the past ruler of the kingdom, I dare say he is quite a peculiar ruler with the way he thinks, for him as long as the person is beautiful then that person can be his wife" said by Duchess Cecile
"I see... so what's the name of that past king?" Asked Shun.
"Hmm from what i remember it was Achilles"
Hearing that familiar name Shun couldn't help but understood clearly since Achilles would actually be that person who would like any type of woman as long as she is beautiful and his type. After all he did call a certain Amazon queen beautiful despite not acting like a royalty but more like a commoner back in the days.
After that Sephiria grabbed her mother's arm, as he let Duke Alan to talk to Shun next.
"Oh Duke! It's your turn to offer a congratulatory ti me for graduating?"
"Well yes and that I... I am still skeptical if I should marry my daughter to you... after all you know little about etiquette" said by Duke Alan
"Oh no worries, I know a proper etiquette myself, in fact one of them is even a subject in this academy. So in this case I can perfectly serve you tea like a true professional"
"Hah! But your not going to be butler you know, you'll be handling paperworks soon, managing assets, territories, and even improve the livelihood of the dominion you will lord over"
"Quite a stressful job" complained by Shun
"But such is the responsibility of a noble, don't you think so?"
"Indeed"
"On the other note, are you really planning tk go back being an adventurer after graduating? Why won't you jut stay in my territory a d learn to handle assets instead? At this case, my daughter would actually follow you in adventuring" Asked by Duke Alan
"Well as much as I like to slack away and settle down, my mission isn't over yet Duke... there is some things I still need to find. Once I found them, then I would be allowed to rest"
"I see, but aren't you gonna tell me what you are looking for? Who knows maybe I can help"
"Really? Well Duke do you know about the Pyro stone and the Terra Heart?"
"Pyro stone and the Terra Heart? Hmm I never heard of such power before, do you have any context about them?"
"Well based on what I know they are one of the 4 main power of the world that is also the foundation of the world itself. Aquasphere, Venus Mark, Pyro Stone, and Terra Heart"
"Wait! One of the 4 main powers of the world similar to the aquasphere of the Avalon kingdom? What are you planning with those power?"
"Well..."
After hesitating for a bit Shun revealed that he already has the fraction of the power from the Aquasphere and Ventus mark. Of course the moment the Duke saw this, his eyes opened wide in shock as he can't even form any words at all, he was simply speechless.
Nevertheless if the kingdom of Avalon ever learned that Shun took a part of their prized treasure the Aquasphere, this will be a whole huge scandal which will lead to political stressful war.
To prevent that he chose to stay silent and stare at Shun with dead pan eyes as if saying that he was tired of his shenanigans.
"You... forget about that, why are you gathering them for? You do know that this might lead to a huge scandal right?"
"Well I needed to collect them in order to u lock my full potential and learn why was I brought here"
"What do you mean?"
"Duke! Don't kid yourself, I know that you are curious on where I came from right Duke? Where did seemingly talented person came from? What is his origin? You wanted to find that out right? Well I can tell you once you help me find them"
Hearing his words, Duke Alan seemed to turn quiet for a bit as he was actually curious about Shun. After all he was a talented person and yet whenever he tried to find his origin, he would always hit a dead end. For months, he had been suppressing his curiosity and now that very person will willingly tell his origin as long as he helps him, was quite an offer.
In the end, his curiosity won him over.
"Alright! After this graduation, I arrange for people to help you find the two missing powers, but in exchange I want the truth and nothing but the truth of your origin. Understand?"
"Alright!"
Just like that they then heads straight to the venue.
