"Then get some good rest." Ethan Laurent took a light blanket and covered her, then turned to head into the kitchen, when he suddenly caught sight of a small medicine bottle nearby.
No label, a white bottle, but it was clear it was medicine.
"What's this?" Ethan reached out to grab it, but Summer Ford calmly took the bottle first.
"It's medicine I got from Annie. She said it's very effective for stomach discomfort." Her tone was calm, not betraying any hint of abnormality.
Ethan didn't think much of it, made a call to have his assistant send over some takeout, and didn't leave.
Summer listened quietly to him making the call, letting out a sigh of relief.
She had actually bought Vitamin B6, something rumored to be very effective at relieving morning sickness.
