Up ahead, Ethan Laurent came to a halt.
His face turned slightly to the side, his gaze leisurely fell on her face, eyebrows slightly raised.
"I didn't say anything just now." Summer Ford walked past him, wanting to get in the car first, but her wrist was unexpectedly grabbed by him.
Summer Ford's back stiffened slightly, her steps halted.
Ethan Laurent's gaze lightly swept over her face, then slowly floated out a sentence, "Which empty? Empty as in hollow or empty as in void?"
Summer Ford was stunned, her face flushed red in an instant.
Ethan Laurent tightened his grip on her wrist, pulling her slightly closer to himself, and Summer Ford's body inevitably bumped into him.
His long arm looped around her waist, pressing her to lean against his chest. His well-proportioned fingers grazed her face at an extremely slow pace, his tone rich with teasing, "Want me to move back in?"
