The Airships slowed down and hovered over the Awana Trench location. It was almost impossible to identify the Awana Trench from above the sea. In fact this very location was formed under an intense calculation and deduction through Torch and Orothus. Locating records from previous trips, and deducing ancient history.
Night had started to fall. The sun setting on the horizon, still visible to the Airships due to how high they were. The original plan was to remain in air and send probes down into the water to spot the Awana Trench during nightfall. Then start the assault during daybreak.
