The Mermale's head began to twitch violently, the bubbles forming around its Ruby. With a violent screech it unleashed its beam in a wide-spread pattern. Dragging it back and forth as it carved lines throughout the sea floor, severing any coral or ruins it made contact with.
Ollie pulled out several vials from his pouch. Tossing them out in front caused them to explode and create some strange foam that hardened into a wall. The bubble beam carved through this wall, but lost a significant amount of its piercing power as a result.
Barely dodging one of the beams Ollie slid next to Givale, "It's too strong of an energy. She's not purging it automatically like she should!"
Fishing through his bag Ollie pulled out a wad of a mysterious herb. Shoving it into Givale's mouth he whispered, "Keep fighting it. This will help."
