Yvienna's eyes shifted to Kyle, fixing an intense, unblinking stare on him. She cleared her throat and quickly looked down at her intertwined fingers resting on the table, forcing her expression back into composure.
"You know too well that I hold grudges against that man," Solene said sharply, pointing at the guy who had been harassing Thalina.
Yvienna's gaze drifted toward Dashylle. He was staring at Solene with a serious intensity—jaw tight, shoulders stiff, tension rippling across his features. But something kept tugging at Yvienna's senses—movement flickering at the edge of her vision. With a long sigh, she rolled her eyes and raised her hand.
Everyone turned to her, but she didn't so much as blink.
"Why is he here?" she asked, pointing directly at Kyle.
"He's my sidekick. It's a long story, but we'll set that aside for now," Dashylle said quickly, brushing off the topic as he turned back to the whiteboard. "So, let's go back to the point."
