Third-person POV
By noon, Beijing, Washington, and Moscow were humiliated by the "Forced-Feed Hospitality" videos by the MPC intelligence agencies. The press went ballistic for opinions from the administrative fortresses. The humiliation proved to be bad, and the heads of state of the Big Three refused to face the media, and the gates were closed. But, immigrants from the MPC nations, from the Filipinos and Greeks in the US to the Spanish and Turks in Sochi, Russia, are laughing their ass off on the videos with encrypted lines to avoid the state censorship.
Back in the Special Region, Itami and a few squads of the JSDF and the Special Region guests emerged from the portal, alongside an assigned squad of MPC agents, 10 from each nation. The leaders of the MPC had granted permission to set foot in the fantasy world for the purpose of observing its beauty and a friendly expedition and a daily rotation in batches. Odesa and Ioanna, who were enthusiasts for fantasy stories, were excited to see the medieval backwater state of Falmart.
"Γοητευτικός… (Goiteftikós…- Fascinating…)," Ioanna whispered while examining a hamlet village from a low hill, before opening her blue backpack to get her watercolor and a Japanese-made sketchbook to make a watercolor painting of the place.
The Indonesian siblings Rahman and Buana were having a chat with a few villagers in the farm fields, and a villager was curious at Buana's yellow and purple hijab.
The Turkish MİT captain Osmanek Kalaycı took a few high-quality shots of the scenery with a camera from the Alnus Base.
Others are just wanting fresh air after a night of the intense Hakaze Inn siege, while some are at the Alnus Base keeping communication lines with their respective MPC intelligence agencies back in their world for any updates with the suffering-by-mixed-music intelligence agencies of the Triad Powers. Other MPC agents, meanwhile, are shooting some fantasy monsters found in this world with their guns and blades with a daily limit of 2 monsters per person per day. They got raw hide for most of their hunt, mostly for turning them into leather in tanneries later. Rory was with them emanating a scary aura that prompted them to keep a distance from her.
They watched as Rory slaughtered a giant boar with her halberd.
"This should be enough for everyone as an evening meal," she declared to them.
Jerome and Rhea then requested through their comms for a vehicle to transport the big dead boar to the Alnus Base this 2 p.m.
"Team Unos here," Rhea said on her comms. "We need a transport vehicle from the JSDF. We had a big game meat for dinner tonight."
Watching this from Ichigaya via a screen, Kazufumi Ryuzaki saw how the MPC agents adapted fast and well in that world.
