He passed by multiple rooms where he noticed computers of varying sizes, screens alight and running algorithms and experiments automatically.
And rooms filled with shelves of books, filing cabinets and more. Desks messy with papers filled to the brim with notes. For such a meticulous guy, Orochimaru wasn't the neatest guy.
And that wasn't even getting into the multiple rooms he passed by that were filled to the brim with massive test tube like constructs, but scaled to size for people to fit inside.
Each and every single one of them, empty.
Barring one.
He'd get to him in a bit though. Instead, he ignored them all beyond continuing to leave the marks for his jutsu and made his way straight to the main lab.
He entered inside, pausing in the entryway to admire the sheer size of the massive super computer at the end of the room, screen glowing with a soft green light like all the rest, as it ran through hypothetical experiments and calculated all that Orochimaru had left it with. Two massive horizontal beam like machines were linked on either side of the computer The closet Daiki could liken them to, as massive processors that hummed softly as they provided the computer with all the processing powering it could ever need.

It was an honest to god super computer. And far beyond any of the technology currently available in Konoha. Oh sure, they had computers. But nothing even close to this scale.
"It really is a shame," Daiki mused walking over to admire it closer and shaking his head, "He was far more cut out for advancing technology than the crap he got up to."
Well, no matter. Daiki would put that technological genius to better use. And this lab and everything in it.
After all, this was the lab where Orochimaru would one day create Mecha Naruto and Mecha Kyuubi. Mecha Naruto being a robot that would legitimately gain sentience and sapience. And Mecha Kyuubi, an honest to god life size robot replica of Kurama.
A freaking Zord that would have even the Dragonzord from the Power Rangers shed a tear in pride.
This was the kind of technology he needed under his control. He placed his hand on the computer, marking it. Before continuing on. Her made his way through a slide door at the side, that led to a huge spherical room filled to the brim with technology, and in the centre of the room, a massive tube connected to machinery coming down from the ceiling, glowing bright with pulsing power.

"Just how much energy does this thing produce?" Daiki wondered, walking over and placing a hand atop it. How did it even work? He had no idea. It was impressive though.
And be put to good use in the future.
But, not what he was here for specifically.
Instead he made his way past it, to a blank wall. He reached around for a second, before finding exactly what he was looking for. A small part of the wall pushed in as he touched it, and the wall groaned, before sliding open revealing a hidden room.
It was filled to the brim with all manner of things. Small tubes with animal corpses delicately preserved, weapons of all shapes and sizes. And scrolls upon scrolls.
He was here for one specific scroll though.
The one containing the instructions for the Reaper Death Seal. He couldn't allow such a technique to fall into the hands of anyone outside of Konoha. And even then only a precious few could be trusted with it.
It was after all one, one of the few techniques that he had no direct counter for currently, and couldn't be allowed for his enemies to even hope to stumble upon.
Astronomically low chances, were not zero.
As soon as he grabbed it, he quickly sealed it away, before turning his attention to another scroll as well, "Mei will be happy." he smirked as he sealed it in his palm as well.
After all, it was the scroll that contained the remaining three weapons that belonged to the Seven Ninja Swordsmen Of The Mist.
Kabutowari, Nuibari and Shibuki. Which he would make sure to return to his future wife…after he checked them over for all their seal work.
It was only right after all, they were technically property of Konoha since they were creations of the Uzumaki, and the Uzumaki were no more besides Naruto.
He doubted Naruto would ever want a weapon, but he'd offer one to him in the future should he want one based on the seals he'd learned from all the weapons.
'Now then.' he turned away from the shelf holding all the scrolls. His attention going to the last thing of interest to him in the hidden room.
Specifically the tube containing a rotten hand, preserved in a vacuous green liquid. And the silver ring atop it, with a slate blue design, the kanji for Void printed atop it with sealing kanji.

Walking over, he placed his hand on the tube, sealing it away, but not the hand itself.
He caught the rotting hand before it fell, and pulled the ring off the rotten appendages finger.
He sealed the hand away as well, before turning his attention to the ring and grinning, "This will be useful." Daiki laughed, slipping it onto a finger.
After all, that single kanji for Void atop the ring, was made up of tiny sealing kanji. The ring itself, was designed to enhance sealing abilities.
All the rings had been.
He admired it for a few seconds on the back of his finger, before turning and leaving the hidden room behind.
There was just one more thing to do before he needed to leave. He made his way back through into the main lab, before leaving it behind and continuing on to the room where a single massive tube filled with water was located.
As soon as he made his way towards the tube, the water shifted and rose up, forming into a bare human torso. A cocky sharp tooth smile was aimed at him, a mop of blue-white hair framing a face bearing glinting purple eyes, "So, who are you then?" Suigetsu Hozuki asked, "New lackey of Orochimaru-"
'Kotoamatsukami.' Daiki thought, eyes swirling into the Eternal Mangekyou as he activated the weaker variation of the technique, and Suigetsu fell silent.
It was nowhere close to as powerful as the full powered version. One of, if not the most potent genjutsu in existence. But, the weaker version still vastly enhanced the basic hypnotic ability of the sharingan.
And it was just what he needed to make Suigetsu nice and docile, and completely unwilling to fight back as he dove deep into his mind, and took the Hozuki's prized Hiden Ninjutsu technique.
The Hydrification Jutsu, which was what allowed them to turn their body into water. Becoming akin to a One Piece logia of water.
