Tessa just gave a faint smile and then asked one question, "Are you finished?"
"What?" Kelly was slightly taken aback, not responding except to ask what she meant by saying that.
"If you're done, then I'll be going." Tessa bypassed her and headed outside.
Kelly gritted her teeth in anger. She had interacted with Tessa before and thought Tessa was a naive fool, never expecting that she'd start playing mind games with her now.
She forced herself to remain calm, quickly followed, and then blocked Tessa's path at the door, "Madam, things aren't what you think, you've really misunderstood me, let me explain..."
As she spoke, she reached out to grab Tessa's wrist.
Tessa was startled, quickly retreated two steps, and looked at her warily, "What exactly are you trying to do?"
Kelly felt that soft words weren't enough; she needed to use a combination of both soft and hard tactics.
