"So, let me get this straight?"
I brought a ceramic teacup to my lips as I drank the brown liquid within.
(Man, I love coffee.)
[Yuck, I'm not much of a coffee fan.]
(Ohhh, so you wouldn't mind a kiss~?)
[Hehe, no, thank you!]
I smiled slightly as I took another sip from my cup. Sighing in satisfaction, I gazed down at the table before me. I was currently sitting in a plain wooden chair, with three other figures. Lucifer was on my right with his teacup in his hands. He took a sip and glanced at me, his wicked smile growing more prominent. I turned away from him and peered over at Alastor. He still had his characteristic smile as he stared intently at me with a glint in his eyes. I felt a chill go down my spine, ignoring it and focusing my attention forward.
Micheal was sitting across from me with a thoughtful expression on his face. He rubbed the side of his temples with an annoyed look as he spoke out, "To appease my growing headache," He glanced up at me with piercing eyes, "You're technically not from this world, just like us?" I nodded my head as I placed my cup on the table.
"You're correct."
Micheal nodded his head as he reached down to the cup in front of him. He yanked his head back as he chugged the coffee from the cup. He gave off a tired sigh as he gazed over at Lucifer.
"Yes?"
"Can I have more?"
Lucifer gave Micheal a smug smile as he said, "What's the magic word~?" Micheal's eyebrow twitched a corner of his jaw tightened up as he said, "Please." Lucifer snickered his eyes gleaming with wickedness as he snapped his fingers. I watched in fascination as the cup in Micheals's hands instantly filled back up. Instead of thanking him, Micheal took another drink from the cup as he glanced back at me.
"How did you get to this world?"
I rolled my shoulder slightly as I felt the soreness within my chest. My ribs had fractured during my scuffle with the two demons beside me. Yet, they were already healing due to a helping hand from my loveable goddess.
"Simple, really," I popped my index finger with my thumb, "I died and reincarnated into this world." Micheal raised an eyebrow and asked, "How?" Instead of answering, there was a flash of light beside me, followed by a sweet voice.
"Me!"
I could see everyone tense up as Teresa appeared beside me. She jumped toward me and wrapped her arms around my neck. Faintly, I could hear the sound of a radio screeching. Lucifer gazed down at her with a raised eyebrow as he mumbled, "So, you're the reason I smelled that foulness." Teresa looked up at him with closed eyes and a smile.
"Fuck you."
Hearing the words from Teresa's lips, I chuckled. I could see Lucifer's eyes narrow as he gave off an inhuman growl. Teresa stuck her tongue out at him before cuddling against my chest. I smiled and brushed my fingers through her long hair.
"Who is she?"
I glanced up at Micheal as I said, "Her name is Tereasa; she's the goddess that reincarnated me." I gazed down and gave her a gentle kiss on her forehead. She giggled and pushed herself further into my chest.
"Interesting, and I take it that it was by choice?"
Hearing the words from the radio demon, I gazed over at him. He was staring at me with a red haze covering his body. I could faintly detect a hint of killing intent emitting from his body. I squinted slightly and said, "What do you mean?" Alastor gave me a large smile as he mused, "Nothing, forget I said anything, my friend."
(Okay?)
I directed my attention back to Micheal. He was rubbing his face with his hands as he mumbled, "Anyway," He brought his hands down and pointed at Lucifer, "YOU! Need to return to Hell immediately." He reached toward his cup and took another drink.
"Otherwise, dad will get pissed."
Lucifer scoffed at him as he said, "FFFIIIINNNE, don't be such a party pooper." Micheal glared at him as he stood up from his seat.
"As much as I would like to exchange words, I must return to Heaven." He glanced over at me and smiled, saying, "It's been a pleasure to meet you, Atal." He walked backward and continued, "When you get a chance, come on up." With that, white wings exploded from behind his back. In a flash, he disappeared, and a single feather fell upon the ground.
I sighed as I heard the sound of static. I glanced over and could see Alastors dial-like eyes. I felt my grip around Teresa tighten as I said, "What are you staring at?" Alastor's wicked smile grew as he said in a demonic voice, "Ohhh, I wondered if you're interested in a deal?" I narrowed my eyes and said, "What deal?" A look of excitement appeared on his face as he said, "A simple one, my newest otherworldly friend." He stuck his gloved hand out.
"What are the terms?"
"Nothing major, I promise…Only a few favors here and there."
I felt the air grow colder as I peered over at Lucifer. He was staring at me with glowing eyes and a sinister smirk. "Let me guess, and you want a deal too?" Lucifer chuckled as he tilted his head and leaned toward me.
"Maybe I am~?"
I sighed and asked, "Well, go ahead and speak them out?"
"Also, no funny business!" I smiled at Teresa's outburst and kissed her. She giggled again as the sound of static grew louder.
"I will give you my assistance," Alastor leaned forward a hand upon his chest, "In return, I will need your support when needed?" I nodded my head as I looked over at Lucifer.
"I will give you full access to Hell," He stuck his hand out, "In return, I request a few party favors and a special request." I raised my eyebrow and asked, "What kind of special request?" Lucifer only smiled at me as he said, "That's a secret."
(I wouldn't say I like that.)
"Is that all?"
"Yes." They both said at the same time.
I frowned my eyes taking in both of the demons outstretched hands. "Before I do this," I said my arms crossing, my peripheral cathcing the subtle tightening of their smiles. "I have some ground rules." Alistaor head gave a faint crack, his head cocking slightly at a odd angle. Lucifer's eyes started to give off a faint glow.
"Rules?"
"Yes, and the one rule I have, is that I can say no to the favor in question." I could see both Alistor and Lucifer share a glance, before their demonic gazes landed back on me.
"I can agree on such a rule."
"As do I." Lucifer said his grin curling at the edges as he motined to me with his already outstretched hand. I sighed and reached out to both of their hands. I could almost see the visible excitement and glee in their eyes. Upon contact, there was an eruption of green and black energy. It swirled around us like a hurricane as we held hands. I could faintly feel a tingling sensation go up to my arms, but it quickly vanished as I let go.
The energy vanished as Alastor and Lucifer looked at me with wicked smiles and dangerous-looking eyes.
"A deal has been struck," Lucifer said, black swirling around him.
"The power of Hell will uphold it," Alastor said, his tentacles swarming his body.
Both demons vanished in a flash as I was now standing in the middle of a street. I glanced down at Teresa and lifted her chin with my hand. She gazed up at me and gave me a beautiful smile.
"I love you."
She beamed at my words as she whispered back, "I love you too." Slowly we inched our lips closer together.
"WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED HERE!"
I froze and felt my eyebrow twitch. Teresa chuckled within my arms as I peered to my right. Seeing a familiar head of pink hair, I smiled and said, "Yo."
"What the hell happened here?!"
I noticed the dead zombies around us and the wrecked houses.
I gazed back at Saya and said, "Stuff."
