(Fujimi Academy) Short Chapter
The school was in ruins. Large chunks of concrete and rebar are what's left standing, of a school originally full of students. Now, it's nothing more than dust and debris, filled with occasional groans and screeches of the undead. Udaues, has long since disappeared and scars from a recent battle were carved into the surface of the earth. Yet, despite nothing being alive, or in total destruction. A few yards above Fujimi the sky suddenly moved. It morphed and twisted as if someone was pinching the sky itself and pulling against it. Slowly, a tear appeared within the sky and a hushed silence fell over the area. The zombies froze and a bone-chilling dread seem to fill their undead hearts.
The heavy smell of iron filled the air.
Slowly, a dark red substance seeped from the crack in the sky.
From it, a figure can be seen emerging.
Its silhouette was completely made up of darkness.
It swirled and quivered across his frame, like snakes constricting its prey.
Where the eyes would be a pair of glowing orbs emerged. The orbs glanced around the city, the shadows around the figure's body were quivering in glee. A thin white line appeared where its mouth would be, and it slowly opened into a crazed smile. Long teeth made of light appeared in its mouth, and a deep inhuman laugh erupted from its throat.
"So," The figure said, in a deep voice filled with excitement and malice, "It seems that someone is interfering with my work." The swirling darkness gave off low growls, as the dark red substance from the crack, spilled and dripped upon the earth below.
"If this is the man who is destined to stop me."
The smile on the shadowed face grew larger as the orbs grew brighter.
"Then I am disappointed."
