With a hearty breakfast full of praise from them— especially, this time, Dark also gave him a small praise— Rami forgets his predicament.
While eating Ryuzaki keeps on praising Rami, "Just how can you learn to cook something so delicious like this? It's just like, everything you cooked is so heavenly. You're incredible!! I felt like I gained so much weight since you lived with us!"
"Yeah, oh, and that cappuccino!! I really love it!! How I wish I could make you my personal cook just to drink it every time!!" Avery seconded.
Ryuzaki hit the back of Avery's head playfully.
"Don't kid around. You should feel ashamed of what you say. Just say that you want to drink it, I'm sure Rami will agree. Saying such things, don't be too arrogant!!" Ryuzaki retorted to Avery.
"I'm just kidding anyway. It's not like I'll hire him forcefully. I'll just act cutely to him, right?" Avery said while she gave Rami her beautiful eyes. Playfully winking at Rami.
That makes Ryuzaki frown with disgust. Causing him to push Avery to the side.
"Don't mind this little lunatic." Ryuzaki said to Rami, making Rami laugh together with the others.
Avery gritted her teeth and leaped toward Ryuzaki, who instinctively caught her. Because of the impact, they fell to the ground. A moment later, Ryuzaki screamed as Avery yanked his hair.
"Who is the lunatic? Who is the lunatic?" Avery shouted at Ryuzaki while she continuously pulled his hair hard while straddling him.
"Get her away from me!!" Ryuzaki exclaimed painfully while pushing Avery off of him.
Dumbass. What if the person beside us thinks something else? I might get in trouble for no reason.
The others just laughed loudly and watched them without doing anything. Even Dark smiled lightly. It is just that, after getting tired of hearing Ryuzaki's screaming and kind of getting jealous, Luca pulled Avery away from Ryuzaki.
"Enough." Luca said to Avery, who later pouted.
Luca just smiled and gave her pouty lips a light peck. But Avery, not satisfied with such a quick peck on her mouth, pulled Luca closer to deepen it—completely unbothered by the others who might be watching.
'Surprisingly, they're a couple.' Rami thought, surprised.
Seeing that the others didn't mind and looked like they're used to it, he felt very jealous.
'How I wish Dark and I will be like that too.' Rami signed silently.
Ryuzaki got up from the ground with messy hair and crumpled clothes. He lightly massages his head that was a little hurting.
"Barbaric!!" Ryuzaki was full of grievances.
On the side, Mykell, who moved beside Ryuzaki, laughed. He pulled Ryuzaki to him lightly, and patted his back, "Like you didn't know her, serve you right."
Ryuzaki just looks at him. After that, he takes a distance away from Mykell.
Hiding the fact that his heart beat so fast because Mykell's body touched his own.
Truthfully, he had liked Mykell ever since the day they met. But when he learned that the man was straight as a pole—yet strangely adamant about staying single, with no signs of being in any relationship—he chose to hide his feelings.
Still, even knowing the truth, he couldn't stop how he felt. So he simply loved him in silence, already content just being by his side every day as his 'friend'.
"Hmp!!" Ryuzaki snorted.
He walked near Rami. To shift his attention away from Mykell, he hugs him and acts like a spoiled child.
This surprised Rami, who was about to push the one who suddenly hugged him. When he saw that it was Ryuzaki, he just let him hug him.
"Ramiii!!! You should make me something to eat later. It would be even better if you baked a cake to soothe my wounded heart." Ryuzaki whined at Rami. He even blinked his eyes rapidly.
Rami smiled at him, amused.
"Cake? Hahaha, why not. Sure!! I'll make some if there are ingredients that I can use. What flavor do you like?" Rami says to Ryuzaki.
Ryuzaki exclaimed joyfully, already excited hearing Rami agree, "Anything will do! I'm not picky when it comes to cakes. Even if there's no ingredients, we can buy them, my treat."
"Okay then." Rami responded and lightly pushed Ryuzaki away from him as he couldn't stand the burning gaze from someone that he was receiving.
Carefully, Rami wandered his sight to find where that came from. It makes him uncomfortable. Though he was also curious.
He found that it was from Mykell. His left eyebrow raised. His eyes look at him teasingly. After that, he playfully smirked towards him.
He saw that Mykell looked away.
On the other hand, Ryuzaki, lightly pushed by Rami, let out a barely noticeable sigh of relief as he felt the piercing gaze directed at them finally vanished.
'What the hell, what did I do, boss? Ryuzaki complained inwardly, crying without tears.
