Rex pushed open a gate and entered the zenith of the tower.
He stopped at the entrance, surprised at what lay beyond.
Before him was a spacious, circular chamber that breathed in stillness. Its vast space is draped in ethereal brown stone veined with quiet veins of gold. No light in the Cavity, but the room was well-lit. The light came from below, soft and deliberate, highlighting gilded carvings and the edges of pillars.
Below, the floor was polished to the point that Rex could even see his reflection clearly.
Something is in the air.
It feels ancient and also gives the impression of a profound, ancient chamber.
No wind stirred, but it's chilly inside. No furniture inside, but it feels full.
"Meditating in this place would be divine," Rex muttered inwardly as he entered the chamber. Every step he made echoed, but it didn't reach far. Like the air was heavy. "Now that I looked at it, this place might have been made exactly for that."
