Rex was annoyed by the System.
He was tricked.
But it wasn't the time to shimmer in that annoyance.
From the inventory, he took out all of the corpses—the Godlings he killed in the warehouse, and placed them in a row right before the platform. He stared at each one of them, pleased that most of them were at least three-star Demigods, and scanned them with the System.
Before choosing which to devour, he needed to know what traits these corpses have.
"Oh, right," Rex recalled something he wanted to ask the System. "Is there any limit as to how many skills or passive skills I could make permanent through the Sudden Quest? Knowing youI, doubt that you didn't put a limit to it."
"Hah, I knew it," Rex sneered at the System.
