They reached one of the guest rooms upstairs and Ryu pushed the door open with his shoulder before stepping inside. The room was spacious and quiet, clearly designed for comfort. A large king-sized bed sat in the center with neatly tucked white sheets and thick pillows arranged perfectly against the headboard. A few tasteful paintings decorated the walls, their soft colors adding warmth to the otherwise minimal design.
There was a small wardrobe against one wall, simple and clean, and near the window stood a reading table with a chair beside it. A couple of potted plants rested by the window, their leaves gently swaying in the faint breeze from the slightly open curtain. The room felt calm and peaceful, almost like a hotel suite.
Ryu walked over and gently placed Aito on the bed. “You should go ahead and sleep,” he said as he dimmed the lights before turning on the air conditioner. Cool air slowly filled the room. “I’m going to take a shower.”
