"Ryu?" He whispered tentatively. He couldn't tell if he was really dreaming or not.
"Yes?" Ryu answered right away and Aito gasped, surprised. A large smile formed on his face as he sat up, engulfing Ryu in a tight hug.
Ryu's breath caught the moment their bodies made contact. The last time they had spoken, Aito told him he needed space and they broke up. The memory still sat heavy in Ryu's chest like a stone.
But right now, with Aito hugging him tight, as if he was afraid that he would disappear at any moment, it felt like that break up had never happened.
"Ryu, you're here." Aito murmured, his voice soft and groggy from sleep. "You're really here."
