My boyfriend of three years proposed to me last week, and we are officially planning our wedding.
I have been having cold feet since he proposed. Although he is quite adorable to me, even more than I deserve, I still think I don't want to spend the rest of my life with him. He is the type of person who, if you told him to sit, he literally would.
I think over the years we formed a friendly bond I never had with anyone, and even if I'm not in love with him, I'll do this for the sake of our friendship, marry your friend, right?

Tonight is the night where everyone from each side of the couple's family introduces and gets to know each other

John's mother called everyone's attention to the stage where she stood
"Thank you all for coming over tonight, and also on short notice"
"I would like to introduce a member of the family who has been away for years and is now back from overseas. This is a surprise even to me, cause he never told me he would be coming "
"Everyone, please meet Christian, who is my late sister's son and whom I had raised as my own son"
John rolled his eyes

Everyone clapped their hands for the mysterious person as a figure approached
"He is even stealing our highlight, he clearly hasn't changed, mom spoiled him rotten " John expelled his frustration.
I was already on the verge of tears from laughing so hard. John can be very funny when he is frustrated, and this person is clearly on his toes.
I was still laughing at what John said when I saw my ex approach the stage in the name of the person John's mother called out
My breathing changed heavily, and memories that I had tried as much as possible to forget began flooding my senses
