Alex walked beside his aunt.
"You divined through the Void, right?" he asked. "As far as I understand, prophecies mostly only exist when the future is viewed through the Void."
"That's not entirely true, since Divining through heaven also gives you prophecies. But yes, I did Divine using the Void instead of connecting to heaven. I'm not nearly good enough to do that consistently, and I couldn't take the chance," she said.
Alex nodded slowly. "I wish you had actually seen what was going to happen," he said. "That would've made things a lot easier."
"I wish that too, but I can't," Liz said with a sigh. "I would not have even known that I had Divined about the War God if I had been left to my own devices."
Alex couldn't argue with that.
"I'm sure you'll get better. As senior said, your wording of things will get better with time, and you will be able to make prophecies much more accurately as well."
Liz nodded. "I hope so too."
